ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, January 15, 2013
Happy Tuesday all!!  I hope all is well!!  This weekend was unseasonably warm but the temperature seems to be getting to more normal averages for this time of year.  A little dreary with the rain but I am not complaining since we seem to have been lacking rain since this fall.

I decided that today I would make a more cheerful card for my niece who just had a baby boy using a bolder blue against clean white.  This card was made for this Week's Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs.

This week's challenge is:
ODBDSLC138 Border it- use your dies and punches to make a special border on one, two or all sides

Our Daily Bread Designs, Little Boys, Antique Labels Design, Words of Faith, Antique Labels and Border die

Stamps Used:  Little Boys,  Antique Labels DesignWords of Faith
Dies Used: Antique Labels and Border die, Spellbinders Lattice, A2 rectangles, Scalloped and classic circles. Floral Doily Accents

Here is a photo of the sets used:

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

To see all the creations in one place or join the challenge, click here.  You have until January 20th to join us.    You do not have to use an ODBD stamp to join in, but we would love to see them if you have them.  Plus....your card will only be featured in the top 3 if you use ODBD stamps.  Anyone, however, has a chance to win the $15 certificate toward ODBD stamps.
We would love to see your creations.

I hope this creation, has somehow inspired you.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Have a great day!!

hugs and blessings,

Brrr - it's turned icy cold here, so I'd be happy if it warmed up a bit for us! I just love those old-fashioned sentiment images, and the clean crisp layout is perfect for a little boy.It reminds me of nursery furniture with the trellis and wonderfully framed image.
