Hello Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well.  It has been very warm and humid here.  Today the girls and I plan to meet some friends at the lake.  We are looking forward to it!!!

Before I pack our picnic lunch and prepare to go, however, I wanted to share a card I created.

Yesterday I had to make a sympathy card for my husband's boss and his wife since they found out on Monday that her mother was murdered. How horrible!! I can't stop thinking about them so I had to make a card. I incorporated yesterday's sketch SC397 at  Splitcoast but made a long card and made the circle an oval.

The oval image is stamped in brilliant blue and uses Our Daily Bread Designs Bookmark Birds set. The "Praying for You" is from ODBD Mini Tags 2 . The scene stamped on the background is Bird and Butterfly Corners . The grommet is from Stampin Up. The doves are punched using a Martha Stewart Dove Punch. The dies used include: Romantic Rectangles and Petite scalloped and classic ovals.

Your card is so lovely and serene.
What sad circumstances though for their family. It's so sad to lose a parent or family member but to have someone take their life is beyond comprehension. Prayers going out to them.

How awful that her mother was murdered! I will be in prayer for her, too. Your card has so many beautiful features, the border die and stamping and the ribbon in the grommet are my favorites. Thanks for sharing with us at The Perfect Sentiments challenge.

I just want to start off by saying that I am so sorry for your loss. That's just awful that your husband's bosses mother-in-law was murdered. My she rest in peace and love.
This is such a lovely card that you made for them! I always have a hard time making sympathy cards, because I never know what to put on it or the sentiments to write. I usually leave it blank and put something simple on it. This is awesome!

Thanks so much for joining us this week on Tuesday Alchemy!!

Love your work!
Cheers!
