Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's  Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.

This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop for the For the Love of ODBD Backgrounds!

Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, go to the ODBD Blog for the full link list.  One of the posts is a hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate.  So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love!  You have until March 28th at 6 pm.  The winner will be announced March 29th!  So, get hopping and enjoy all the inspiration using
For the Love of ODBD Backgrounds!

If you came here from Connie's Blog you are in the right place, if you have not, you may want to start back at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog

For my creation I used the Grunge Butterfly Background and Flourished Verses (for the sentiment).  Rather give a solid look to the background, I stamped off part of it to give it a more subtle or vintage look.  I die cut a Cheery Lynn Canadian Kaleidoscope doily.  The border is created with the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accents die.  The floral details are created with Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and the Martha Stewart Twig punch.  The leaves are embossed with the Provocraft Textile embossing folder.  The bow is made with the Bow Easy and the May Arts Wrinkled Ribbon.  The lace has seam binding laced through it.

I apologize if the picture is not too clear.  Today our movers move our furniture and boxes out.  Somehow my camera has been lost.  I had to borrow my dd's camera but the pictures are not as clear.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation.  The next step on the hop is the ever so talented Patter!!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!!!  They are greatly appreciated!  Have a great day!!
hugs,

Hi Chris~

What a beautiful card. The background looks so soft and pretty. I love that kaleidescope doily peeking out! The flowers, lace, ribbon pin, the fleur dis lis border...WOW! So much, and yet the Sentiment is still clearly visable...and it looks fabulous together!

Praying for your family that everything goes smoothly, that everyone lifts carefully and don't hurt themselves, and that extra patience is given to everyone. Congratulations, Sweetie, the day is here!
