Now on to my card details:

This month I decided to make a more CAS card with a little less detail.  For my creation, I used the beautiful Daisy stamp set and the spotlighting technique.  The focal point is colored with copics.  The designer paper is from SU Holiday Traditions (retired).  The gingham ribbon is one of my scraps.  I thought it adds a country flair.  The image is framed with the Spellbinder Label 20 die. Spellbinders Petite Ovals large and small were used to cut the inside of the frame and mat the image. The outside borders are created with the Floral Doily Accents.

This second card is one I posted as a sneak but I thought I would post it for the hop for those who have not seen it.  It uses the Little Things and Honey Comb Background stamps at ODBD  The border along the top is done with Floral Doily Accents from Spellbinders.  The background is embossed in gold and bordered with gold glitter paper.  The flowers are altered single prima flowers (very old stash) crumpled and layered together to make fuller blooms. The leaves are made with a Martha Stewart leaf punch and a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die.  The stick pin has pearls and gold glittered balls (from a floral swag at Michaels).  The lace and seam binding was gifted to me by my dear friend Sabrina.  Thanks Sabrina!!

Your next stop on the hop will be the amazing Becca!!!

Thanks for stopping by today and for all your comments!! Have a great day!!

blessings,

I saw your first card and was busy thinking what to say and then I saw you had made a second card... they are both beautiful in their own ways but I think my fav is the first with the pearls at the bottom and the technique you used on the daisies with only a circle portion in color as if looking through binoculars and that portion is more in focus! But they both really are fab!

So precious-Chris!!! I especially love the creativity that you show in the first card----how that the flowers are in black and white (maybe the way the world tends to see some things ) and THEN---the beautiful splash of color in which the Lord Jesus so freely gives to us!!! UBER!! Thanks you, be blessed beyond Measure
