Happy Saturday all!! I hope everyone is well!!  I feel so out of touch with things lately.  I am such a bad blogger...I can't believe I have not posted in 4 days...Unfortunately life comes before crafting...

Anywho, it is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light challenge.

This weeks challenge: Make a card or project with a scripture, quote, or song as the focal point.
This challenge will be for 2 weeks so you have until October 7 at 8 a.m. to participate.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize$15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for thprize must be submitted by Friday, October 7 at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on or will they qualify for prizes.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. Inorder to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday, October 7 at 8 a.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC78. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.
I chose to create a card using a sneak peek from Our Daily Bread Designs called Joy Tree.  I just love it!!  Such a great stamps without any coloring.  Great for making a mass of Christmas cards or an elegant card for that someone special.
The sentiment/image is embossed in gold.  The ivory cs is dry embossed with the Sizzix embossing folder.  The lace is from Jo Anne Crafts and the ribbon is from May Arts (burgundy silk).  The card is framed with gold glitter paper.

Lovely card, truly elegant in design and in all the textures you brought.
The use of the lace is done so creatively, and the sparkle of gold paper and gold embossing of the sentiment just set the stage beautifully.
