Happy Sunday everyone!! I hope you have been enjoying the weekend.  Mine has been very busy with house guests but it really is fun to spend time with family.  I will be sad to see them go back home.

Anywho...I want to apologize for the short post but I have been short on time and now it is really late and I am exhausted..

Today it is time for another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge.  This week's host is my dear friend GraceGrace chose the verse:

2 Cor.5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Grace chose the challenge:
Use the theme of "NEW" and interpret it as you want: new year, new life, new birth, new supplies, new house, etc. Please tell us what you use to fit the challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge using the Rose Butterfly digi from Whismy stamps illustrated by the talented Crissy Armstrong.  I had so much fun coloring it up.  A butterfly seemed perfect to symbolize new life.  The colors are brighter than I am used to using but I just had to use this brand new paper from My Mind's Eye sent to me by my friend, Crystal.  It is gorgeous!!

I colored the image with copics.  The scallops are using the scallop die from Spelbinders that I cut out using the awesome Grand Calibur machine.

challenges I added my creation too:
Crafty Creations - new beginnings
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
AiFactory - anything goes
Meljens Designs - square or round cards (no rectangles)
Some Odd Girl – embossing (dry embossing)
Creative Card Crew - new beginnings
Mami Doodles – mostly blues
Dutch Dare - all stitched upNEW*

Copic Creations - (2 weeks) anything new plus Copics (new image and paper)
Craft Your Days Away (2nd week) - anything goes
Crafty Calendar (monthly, 1 entry) - New Beginnings
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - anything goes
Stampin' B's - use a die cut
Pollycraft - New Things
For more inspiration for the Stampin in Christ Challenge, please visit my dt sisters:
Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi, Meisje, Rebecca, and Patti

For the full devotional and challenge details please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge.

Our sponsor this week is Clear Dollar Stamps.  Clear Dollar Stamps is a Christian Company with a large variety of sentiments and images.  They are offering a $15 stampset to one random participant of the SSC Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  You are so appreciated.

Have a blessed Sunday!

What a pretty image; it reminds me of a butterfly I saw on a porcelain plate once. And you colored it so well, it matches that bright paper nicely, everything is so crisp and neat. I hope you had a good time with your company and you are finding some rest this weekend!
