Love in a Bucket

Happy Tuesday!! I am so sorry that I have posted later in the a.m. but my girls woke up earlier this a.m. and I had to start home schooling them and fix them breakfast etc. first.Since my girls are home 24-7, they do govern the outcome of my day.

Anywho....today I have a fun Valentine card to share with you.

I used Crissy Armstrong's Love in a Bucket rubber stamp which is available in rubber at Whimsy Stamps. I had a blast coloring this image with a mixture of copics and prisma color pencils. My pencils have been so neglected as of late that I wanted to mix it up a bit. The paper is a mixture of new and old K&Co. Valentine paper.

The layout uses the sketch from Gem Of A Challenge.

The heart by my ribbon treatment is a button. The ribbon is retired purely pomegranite from SU. The lace is new lace I purchased from Joann's. The hearts on the bottom are punched out with my SU hearts punch. The side punch detail on the side of my card is created from the bottom panel of one of the K&Co pad which was in a decorative design. The little flower is hand crocheted. Behind the image, the pink dp is dry embossed with a Provocraft circles embossing folder.

Accessories: Lace from Joann Fabrics (new), retired SU Purely pomegranite stitched ribbon, heart button, crocheted flower

Tools: SU heart punch, Martha Stewart alphabet punch (for LOVE), Spellbinders Lacey Circles and Classic circles die, Provocraft Circles embossing folder

Tomorrow I will be hosting a special candy which is being generously given by the sweet Denise of Whimsy stamps. Each Wednesday of the month, one of the dt members of Whimsy will be giving away a stamp from Whimsy. The stamp itself will be a surprise but it will be announced with the winning entry. I am the host tommorrow. This candy will be available for 24 hours only. The winner will be announced the next day!
