ODBD Bread Basket

Thursday, January 6, 2011
HI everyone!!  Yesterday was such a busy day and I had to post so many cards for dt's etc. that I decided to save one for today.  The card I am sharing today is one I created for the Creative Belli's Snow challenge.

I had a great time making this card.  I used the cardinal from Our Daily Bread Designs Sing for Joy set and the verse from Faith (a January release, a gorgeous new set!!!!). The cardinal is colored with copics and the entire card is sprayed with Pearl Glimmermist which gives it a gorgeous Sparkly Sheen.  I just could not get the camera to photo it.  Sorry.  It is gorgeous in person.  I want to thank my dear sweet Nicki for surprising me with a couple of copics for Christmas (that I had run out of ink in).  It made it possible for me to color my image prettier, my dear daughter.

The background is embossed in the Provocraft snowflakes  folder.  The border on the bottom with the American crafts black ribbon going through it is the Spellbinders Lattice Border.  The bigger snowflake is cut out with the Spellbinders Snowflake 2 die. The other is a punch.  The verse is frame with the Labels 14,   die (Spellbinders). The image is framed with the Classic Scalloped Edge Frame die from Spellbinders.  A few of the square layers are cut out with the Grand Caliber and the Grand Squares die from Spellbinders.

Yes...the Grand Caliber.  I got it this in December and what a gift it is!! I just love how it embosses and cuts. It is very easy to crank and is very sturdy!!  You can run an entire 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper through it!!

Spellbinders has created a superior product with this tool!
