ODBDSLC26 Sunflowers and Light

Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!! I know I am. This post has been prescheduled and the family and I are away camping. I am not creating too much right now and tried to get way ahead before leaving. I am however able to visit your blogs since I do have internet access. Woohoo!! Lovin my new laptop!!

Anywho...today I would like to share a new challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge.

This week's Challenge:

This week the team is challenging you to use punches or dies on your creation. Now isn't that just easy peasy!!

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, August 26 . One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.

Now on to my creation:

I always enjoy visiting blogs that create clean crisp cards with just a little detail, that I decided to give it a go myself. I don't do this too often but I think I like how it turned out. I used the Harvest Blessings and
Light from the Full of Grace collection from Our Daily Bread Designs. The sunflower image I did not cut out by hand!! I actually used a die now available at Our Daily bread Designs. It made it so much easier and less labor intensive!! The image is nested in the Labels 11 Spellbinder die

which is embossed with Divine Swirls (Cuttlebug). My card background is dry embossed with a vine. The ribbon is SU Crushed Curry.
