SSHP22- Slick Mermaid

Hi all!! It is Saturday and time for another Saturday Spotlight Challenge!!! We so love seeing all your creations!!

For this week's challenge.....

The Spotlight Divas would like to challenge you to be "so slick"! Nope, it's not a typo! We mean "slick" as in slick card stock, embellishments, acetate paper, crystal lacquer, etc. etc....list can go on and on! We figured this was the season for Spring rain, so why not make something slick or 'wet looking'! Sound like fun?!! Grab your slickness and get creating! We'd love to see what you come up with!

It is definitely fitting for this weekend here in NY...we are being swamped with rain. It is quickly getting rid of the snow!! Boy does our yard look like a swamp though.

Well let me continue with the challenge....

For my creation I used Janie Mermaid from Sassy Studio. I colored her with copics and paper pieced and embossed her outfit. It is hard to see all the embossing but the black dp is glossy as is the buttons, mermaid outfit and pearls for the necklace. For my card I used the sketch from Mercy's Tuesday sketch.
