This week has been a very special week for ODBD's Anniversary, beginning with the Anniversary challenges and now today, Kelley is releasing Four new and truly wonderful Special Edition sets! They are near and dear to our hearts, because each of us on the Design Team submitted one of our favorite verses that we would like to put on a card, and those Scripture Verses are two of the sets being released today. If that wasn't exciting enough... she also created two sets of gorgeous borders that fit the Scriptures! If you want that special touch to present your sentiments in... these frames are it!
Today's Blog Hop is special because it allows each of the Design Team members to make the first card with their own favorite Scripture! We hope you will truly enjoy the hop... and of course it wouldn't be a Blog Hop without prizes! Today, Kelley is going to give 3 Prizes of your choice of one of these new Anniversary sets! Here is what you have to do to qualify for the prizes:
You have until 8:00 PM EST on Mar 18th to complete the hop and email the message to Grace.
Now on to my creation:
This card uses the Scripture 4 set and the Vine Borders. The dp is new paper I just bought from Michaels from Die Cuts with a View home. I love this shimmery paper!! The cross seemed the perfect embellishment since it really seems like the true message about what the verse means. If Jesus layed down his life for us, what greater love is there to prove that He will be there for us in our deepest challenges in life. I created the cross with the Spellbinders Cross Pendant. I draped the blue ribbon over it to symbolize "Hope".

Paper: Die Cuts with a view- Home, Gold Metallic paper from ABC Crafts foil paper, Very Vanilla CS
Accessories: Spellbinders Cross die, MS Garden Trellis punch, ZVA Creative Pearls, EK Success punch for bottom border, gold thread for sewn edge, Prima rose
I incorporated the Sisters in Christ Challenge into this creation since this is a verse which gives me peace and their challenge was to make a card illustrating peace.
My secret letter for this hop is "P".

I love this scripture, I think these sets are fabulous! Your scripture is one of my all time favorites.It is in my Top Ten, if I had to order them numerically. It is my 2nd or 3rd verse learned. I think these sets are fabulous! And, I am so happy to get to know everyone's favorite scripture.
Your card is so inspiring! I love your bold cross. It is a huge part of all of this, isn't it? I think the DCWV paper is fabulous. I'll need to go get some, I love their paper especially in the small packs--perfect for cards. I love the pearls, and the ribbon with the punched border...and the bright yellow stitching really ties in with the frame. It's all in the details! You are wonderful, Chris.
