Good Morning!! If you are here for the Our Daily Bread Designs anniversary celebration and challenge, you are in the right place, if you are here for the Saturday Spotlight Challenge, please scroll down to the next post.
Hi all!...It is a weekend and Our Daily bread Designs is kicking it off with 5 days of fun and challenges. Unlike past weeks, the Challenge and Design team will be hosting a daily challenge in honor of Our Daily Bread Designs 2nd Anniversary!! You will have one day to link your challenge creations and not one week.

Today is the first Anniversary Challenge!! Since we are celebrating the Anniversary of Our Daily Bread Designs, we will be focusing on gifts for Anniversaries. Cotton is the traditional gift for the second anniversary. Today's challenge will be to use Cotton in some way…. stamp on cotton, use cotton ribbon, make a cotton flower… get creative.

As with all the challenges this week... this challenge was announced on Mar. 7th on the ODBD Blog so you could get a head start, and we hope you have had the chance to play along with us, but if not, you have until 8:00 pm EST tonight to link your creation to Mr Linky on this post! The only stipulation is that it must be new work, no back links please! Be sure to place a link to this challenge in your post, and be sure to link your project to Mr Linky below by 8pm EST tonight! The winner will be chosen by random and will receive a $15.00 Gift Certificate for stamps from the ODBD Store! The winner will be announced on the ODBD Blog post tomorrow when we issue the next challenge! If you upload your creation to Splitcoast, please use the keyword ODBD2AC1

Here is my creation for the Cotton Challenge.

I decided to make a drawer card box and use the Our Daily Bread Designs set He is Risen. My cotton is the handmade crocheted flower, the lace, and the thread I sewed my card with. My image is water colored and popped up on dimensionals.

I thought it would be fun to make a drawer card and fill it will goodies.
There are four drawers, one on each side.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs set He is Risen
Paper: K & Co. called: Amy Butler, Baja Breeze, White, lemon Bazill
Accessories: ZVA Creative Flourishes, prima rose, cotton lace, handmade flower, baja breeze ribbon

To make the challenge even more fun, some of the designers have candy hidden in their posts. Please be sure to visit all the blogs linked below, and leave a comment for each designer, because you never know what you might win and where. .... if your name is chosen and you have left a comment for the designers... you will win it!!! You won't know how many have candy each day... so be sure to visit them all and leave some love! This will occur on every day of the Anniversary Challenges (Sat. - Tuesday)

Winners of the individual blog candy will be announced by the blog owners who had the candy on the next day on their blogs. There will also be a big announcement on March 19th here on the ODBD Blog recapping ALL the winners... the challenges, the blog candy, and the blog hop winners! So be sure to check back there then!!!

If I have candy...the winner will be announced tomorrow.....Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments!!
blessings,
Chris
