MMSC#2- using my one of my favorite ODBD Stamps- "Bluebird Blessings"

Last week we had 46 entries for our kickoff. The projects and cards were absolutely wonderful! Thanks to everyone who played along! Since there were so many awesome designs, the team decided that it would be fun to recognize or showcase one project each week and pass along this fun award. (It is a blinkie but I chose not to display it as such since blinkies make me sick personally. Sorry!)

day's sketch! It is truly another fun sketch! Here is my card with this sketch. I used one of my favorite sets from Our Daily Bread Designs called Sing to the Lord. It is suppose to be spring after all, although one would not know it with the 23 degree temperature this a.m. When I think of spring, I think of the beautiful blue birds that Scott and I love to watch making nests in our blue bird houses. I watercolored my image and used the sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs - Cross of Christ. I plan to send this as a birthday card to one of my friends. Hope she doesn't see it here. Lol! When I was the scallops on the sketch, I thought it would be fun to scallop a piece of ribbon. Instead of just a tag at the bottom, I added a hatpin with some beads in my stash. To keep with the nature theme, I distressed it a bit.

CARD RECIPE

Stamps: Our Daily bread Designs- Sing to the Lord, Cross of Christ

Paper: SU Urban Garden,Pacific Point CS, Bazill Bitter Chocolate, White CS, and watercolor paper

Accessories- hatpin and beads, SU Markers for watercolor, sewing machine and brown thread, prima flowers, old olive ribbon, and textile cuttlebug embossing folder.
