I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and blessed Holiday weekend for those who live in the US. I know I had a very refreshing weekend remembering our veterans and troops, spending quality time with Scott and the girls, and visiting with friends. While I am sorry to see it end, I am so ready to back to stamping!! Can't wait to join all the challenges and do some blog hopping!
Speaking of challenges......Today is Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #3 Day!!! Woo hoo! Why not join us for the fun! This is the last week to join in for the Midnight Madness Blog Candy Prize (A Whopping $100 shopping spree to Stampin UP. If you are a follower of Priscilla's blog, you have a chance of a $125 shopping spree! So what are you waiting for....Join the Fun!! You can find more details on the rules and how to win here.

Last week the team decided to recognize the one participant's creation for their outstanding submission. This is our way of recognizing those outstanding crafters out there and showing how much we appreciate you sharing our craft with us. This week it was so close as it was almost a four way tie! This week's winner of the Midnight Masterpiece Badge is Selma Stevenson!! Congratulations Selma and thanks everyone for your outstanding workmanship on last week's sketch! In addition to recognizing one of the participants, one of the team members also recieves an award. This weeks "Seasoned Socialite award goes to the incredibly sweet and talented Phyllis for her amazing social qualities! Congrats Phyllis! You are so loved by us all! Please leave Phyllis some love at her SC Gallery since she does not have a blog.

And now for today's sketch!!.................

I decided to combine challenges on this sketch challenge creatiion. In addition to the Midnight Madness sketch I did the Cuttlebug Spot #32 challenge to use blue and brown, the Father's Day Challenge hosted by Crystal from Crystal Crafts A lot to use blue and brown and only buttons and ribbon for a Father's Day card, and the LSC221 Think Circles Challenge at SC. I used a beautiful sneek peak of a NEW RELEASE- "Quiet Waters" from Our Daily Bread Designs to be released on June 1! Isn't it a great image! It has many awesome verses to go with it too that I will showcase in the future. The image is watercolored.
Card Recipe:
Paper: Pacific Point DP, Chocolate Chip DP
Accessories: Spellbinders Label three die, sewing machine, swiss dots and textile cuttlebug folders, miscellaneous buttons, Chocolate chip grossgrain ribbon, Stampin Up Corner Punch, Circle Nestabilities, Ribbons Trio die
I hope you enjoyed today's example and I hope it inspires you to come join the fun!! For more inspiration, see my dt sister's gorgeous creations: Carolynn, Charlotte, Denise, Jane, Jeni, Jessica, Kimmie, Michelle, Phyllis, Priscilla, Shawne, Sonya, and Sue. You will surely be inspired!!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you have time to do some crafting! I look forward to seeing all your creations, whether it be this sketch challenge or otherwise! I do hope you can join us for this week's sketch though.
