Happy Friday!!! I am so excited that the weekend is upon us and the craziness of the week is almost over. tomorrow I have no plans and I hope to accomplish somethings around my house and maybe complete the inside of several cards sitting in a box in my craft room. Time to send some Happy Mail to some friends I think!

For today's post, I have two cards to share with you using the new Our Daily Bread Designs stamps: I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag, In God We Trust and God Bless America. These are all so awesome but shhh! don't tell anybody but that eagle from Trust in the Lord is my absolute favorite!! I wanted to get picture of the entire sets but blogger won't cooperate with my photos today. VERY FRUSTRATING! It is taking forever and several tries to upload an image! (Computers, can't live with them and you can't live without them!!)
This first card uses I Pledge Allegiance and In God We Trust. This fits today's challenge to use a stamp to create a border. I used the eagle as a border. The torn DP and the more mustard cs is from SEI Windsor also available at Our Daily Bread Designs. I dthat Michael's carries this same paper in 12x12, or so I thought . When I looked at it, the colors are not near as vibrant and the foil paper is not there (not embossed gold). The paper at Our Daily Bread designs is much prettier!!!! This card is one of my first attempts at a collage type card. What do you think?

Paper: SEI- Windor, Bitter Chocolate Bazzill
Accessories: Prima Marketing Black Velvet Trim and lace, cuttlebug textile folder, Nestabilities- curved rectangle, buttons, hemp, gold ring from Michael's Jewelry department, American Crafts Gold Glitter Ribbon

The second card is another card I made for today's LSC218 challenge. The challenge was to use a stamp or stamps to create your border. I used the floral flourish from SU Doodle This and gold embossed it. I created the circle shape with my EK Success Scissor Circle Kit. The scalloped circle is created by going around the edges with my SU Scalloped border punch. The Pacific Point CS is cuttlebugged with the Cuttlebug Textile folder and then distressd with an edge distresser and brown ink. The image is from Our Daily Bread Design's In God We Trust and God Bless America. I masked the eagle and stamped the flag over top. The entire image is watercolored, embossed several times and put in the freezer to create a cracked glass technique. After it was crackled I inked up my sponge and rubbed it into the cracks a little. I created a tag with my Spellbinders Ribbon Trio set and sheer brown ribbon. I love shaped cards. They are so different from the norm.

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- In God We Trust and In God We Trust
Paper: Watercolor Paper, Pacific Point, Bitter Chocolate Bazzill
Accessories: Spellbiders circles (for inside circles), Spellbinders Ribbon Trio Tags, EK Success Circle Scissors Set, Cuttlebug Textile Embossing Folder, SU Scalloped border, Sheer brown ribbon, Brown Grossgrain, Brass Ornament Clip, gold and clear embossing powder, Encore Gold ink, Embossing clear ink, distresser
I hope you enjoyed today's post. Tomorrow Our Daily Bread Designs will be introducing a sketch challenge. What Fun!! I will be postng my creation for the challenge over the weekend.
Thank you for dropping byand for all your sweet comments!! I enjoy visiting your blogs each night for more inspiration.
