Happy Monday!! Sorry for my absence over the weekend. I have been having some health issues these past couple of weeks and it esculated over the weekend so I layed low. Thankfully I am feeling much better although I am not 100% yet. I hope you are all doing well!

It has reached almost 10o degrees here over the last couple of days which is unbelievable in New York in April!! We actually had to put our AC on upstairs since it was 90 degrees up there and very difficult to sleep in. It has really sped up the blooming of my spring flowers. Here is a weeping Cherry Tree from in front of our house. Isn't it beautiful!!
This week's featured stamper on SC is Kathy Wattle (FS116)!! I have always love Kathy's creations!! She is also the sweetest!! Congrats Kathy! You so deserve this!! Since spring is here and when I think of spring and summer, I think flowers, I decided to case this card of Kathy's. I used the same image and layout and changed my colors, ribbon, sentiment and made many additions including dry embossing behind my image, watercoloring my image 3 times and layering it, using my cropodile to put holes around the scalloped circle, sewing around the edge, created a marbelized designer paper (cameo coral, appricot appeal, and pretty in pink) using today's TLC218 Rolling Marbles, adding a punched border to the bottom and adding pearls to my flowers. This week's OCCC challenge was to use your favorite color combinations. I love any pink, peach, or blue with brown. I decided to use cameo coral and Bitter Chocolate.
Stamps: Bloomin Beautiful, Fresh Cuts
Paper: Cameo Coral, Bitter Chocolate, Whisper White
Accessories: EK Success, Swiss Dot and Textile Cuttlebug folder, pearls, hodgepodge hardware, Cuttlebug Vintage corner die, American crafts hardware
This second card is made with In God We Trust a sneak peek to be released on May 1 from Our Daily Bread Designs. I cased another one of Kathy's cards here for the layout and colors. I used my favorite dp from SU, Parisian Breeze.
Card Recipe:
Paper: SU Parisian Breeze, Kraft, Black, White
Accessories: pearl from ODBD, With the Grain Black Ribbon, Nesties, Kraft and black ink, Brass Spiral Clip
I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thank you for stopping by and for all your comments. I so enjoy reading them! I look forward to blog hopping after my absence over the week.

Chris do you have any idea how honoured I am that you cased not one, but two of my cards??!!! They are both gorgeous, although the flower one made my jaw crash to the desk!!! All those popped flowers and pearls!!! I'm also amazed that you have managed to create these beauties when you have had sickness in your family.....poor you and I hope things are better now! {HUGS} If you think your weather is weird - it's been snowing in the southern states of Australia in April....too weird!!! Your tree is beautiful BTW!!!

Beautiful cards and love the tree blossoms too! I really like your flowers and the other card is really pretty too! What type of sewing machine do you use for your cards and I noticed you sell them on EBay. Has that been really successful? I am sure they sell beacause your cards are stunning, but do people pay enough for all of your work? I've thought about it too!

Another thing to bear in mind is that many sites give away a starting amount to bet for real money on the cards. url free scratch cards This is down to the fact that there are no costs associated in manufacturing or selling the tickets. http://www.funkyscratchcards.co.uk/
