Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am still a bit under the weather but trying to plug away at homeschooling my girls and working at a slow pace on some projects.

Today I would like to share a project I made for Sunday's Featured Stamper Challenge FS174. This week's featured stamper is Julie , a very talented and sweet girl and a fellow Divine Diva of the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge Team. I had a hard time just picking one project from her awesome gallery. But the dress card in her gallery caught my eye. I thought it would work perfectly for a baby card with the new release Children of God from Our Daily Bread designs sentiments. I wanted to make a his and her baby card so I also made a onesie/romper that would be appropriate for a boy. I used the paisley design from IS174 (French Bull) to pick out my paisley DP (Making Memories). The apron is made of a glittered vellum from K&Co. The yummy ribbon is from American Crafts! I used the EK Success small heart border punch for the bottom of the dress and a scalloped fiskars for the collar. The onesie is textured with a Sizzix Argyle Embossing Folder.I uses an oval nesties to make the collar. The belt is a piece of American Crafts ribbon with a slide of Hodgepodge Hardware. The snaps at the bottom are silver brads. I think the look kind of cute.
Grace, of Th-Ink-ing of You, and Michelle, of Inky Scraps, gave me this awesome blog award. I feel so honored and appreciate their thoughtfulness. These two gals have been a real inspiration to me not only because of their kindness but also because of their amazing talent. I am now going to pass this award on to 10 other awesome bloggers.: (I had a hard time just picking 10 because there are so many who inspire me in so many different ways!!)

Jeanne, my sister, who shares my passion for stamping and who finally had the courage to start a blog after much prodding (hee!hee!). She is always there to make me smile and amazes me with her energy and talent.
Priscilla, a fellow card maker and friend who just began a blog and inspires me with her courage, sweetness talent, and unending energy.
Angella, the newest DT member of the breadbasket at Our Daily Bread Designs, whose talent, kindness, example, and wit always puts a smile on my face.
Janna, whose blog stories of her daughter, friendship, incredible talent and kind words always inspire me.
Vicki and Amy, who are incredibly talented, kind, and creative, and always knock my socks off with their incredible creations.
Danni, Heather, and Kathy who are not only incredibly talented and kind but who never miss a beat to leave a kind word and leave a smile on the face of others.
Silki- who shares my heritage, (I am Dutch. My parents came from the Netherlands when they were teens. My maiden name is Vander Groef) and is amazingly talented, creative, and always leaves me smiling with her kindness.
Stef- who is amazingly charming and talented and whose wit and kindness always brightens my day
and all my blogging and stamping friends who always inspire me with their kind words and creativity!!!
If you have a minute, please visit these bloggers and leave them a note. Their creations will be well worth looking at.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for all your kind comments.

How perfectly adorable! So creative, too. Love the punched "lace" at the bottom of the dress, and the brads at the bottom of the romper!

Thank you for the award and your very lovely comment!

Sure hope you're feeling better soon!

Chris Thank You so much for this lovely award!!!! You are so sweet to think of me and I have been eyeying that cute lady bug for quite a while!!!

I did not know you are Dutch my Husband is Half Dutch his Mom is full, his brother married a full dutch so their kids are 3/4 instead of half. My Mother in Law and Father in Law are heading over to the Netherlands next month to see the Tulips her parents came over before she was born, so she has never been and is very excited!!!

My Husbands family go to a Dutch Denomination Called Christian Reform not sure if you have ever heard of it but there is a couple of Dutch Christian Reform Colleges that when the kids go there they will marry a Dutch girl or boy it is a given so that is where my brother in law met his wife. Christian Reform churches are only in certain parts of the country with big Dutch communities so we do not have one here, but both my BIL and SIL go to one we go to a Nazarene church. It was our "compromise between Babtist and Christian Reform.

Sorry to drone on here!!!
