Today I too am celebrating one year being on the Dt but it is also my last week as a Midnight Madness Design team member. It is hard to say goodbye as I have had so many memories with these dear friends. We have laughed, shared our joys and sorrows and been inspired by one another in so many ways. With the summer approaching, however, I felt it was time to lessen my commitments up a bit so I could spend more time in my gardens and with my girls and hubby. My time as a MMSC design team member will be a memory I will treasure. This is not a goodbye at all, however, since I do plan to keep playing as time allows and I will be stalking their blogs. Who knows....I may return as a dt member some day if they will have me!! Love you all girls!!! Thanks for this awesome opportunity to work with you!! You all have so much talent and your kindness has warmed my heart!!

I used Marching Mouse and Gifts for you image from Penny Black as well as some Basic Grey Paper. The image is colored with copics except for the sponged background. What do you think?
This next card is using the same sketch but it is a sneak peak of a new digital image to be released at Whimsy stamps tomorrow!! The digital is called Little Red Riding Hood. Isn't it just darling!! I used some dp from my stash which I have been hoarding from Crate Paper. I bought it in Lancaster last year. Again, the image is colored in copics. You won't want to miss the fun tomorrow at Whimsy tomorrow as their will be a new challenge and a blog hop that will be occurring simultaneously at noon!! Hope to see you there!! The images and sentiments are darling and perfect for so many occasions!!

Oh and tomorrow also marks the beginning of the new speak peaks at Wags n Whiskers as well!! Friday there will be a blog hop and the stamps will be available to purchase!! You won't want to miss these cuties!!

Happy Monday! Here's to the beginning of another week...I had a wonderful weekend with my family but am so glad to be back in to my routine at home. Since it is raining...I just may get some blogging and crafting in!! Woo hoo!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! Today it is time for another Stampin Sister in Christ Challenge and I have the honor of hostessing this week's scripture and challenge.

For the challenge I have chose the scripture:
Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: I know that full well.

I really like this verse because it keeps me humble and realizing who I am is because of Him. All my gifts and talents are a gift from God. He has made each one of us for a special purpose. We are all a part of one body and each and every part is important. No one is more important than the other.

Thank you God for making me and for allowing me to observe all the gifts, talents and purposes you have given to others as well. Help us all to realize that who we are is not of ourselves but a gift from you. Keep us Humble and make us thankful for who we are.

Today's challenge is: Use the talents you have been given to create a card or project that is knit together (stitched- faux or real).

For my card I used the new release God's Hands from Our Daily Breads keeping in theme with today's verse and challenge! Though much of my card is stitched, the patterns of the paper make it hard to see. I made this card for a dear friend who is ill in the hospital to let her know I was praying for her and to give her comfort.

Hello everyone! Today is the first day of May and Our Daily bread Designs is kicking off the month with a May Release Blog Hop! The hop will run from May 1 through Monday, May 3 at 8PM Eastern Time. The winners will be announced on the ODBD blog on Tues. May 4. So why don't you grab yourself a cup of coffee and join the fun!

We have a special "May Day" blog hop for you this month! In New England it used to be a custom that on May first, people would make "May Baskets" for neighbors and friends,filling them with flowers or other little gifts,and then go hang them on their doorknob, knock or ring the bell, and run and hide until they had found their basket. It was such a fun "giving" tradition! Some still carry on this tradition, and others are trying to revive it. So for our hop, we are going to collect flowers from each designer to fill our May basket! If you got here from the ODBD blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to go to the ODBD Blog and start from there so you don't miss anyone!

There will be three winners for this hop. Each winner will receive a $15.00 store credit toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread designs store!
Here is what you need to do to qualify to win:1. Hop from blog to blog, leaving a comment and collecting the flower that designer is giving away.
2. Return to the ODBD blog and leave a comment that you completed the hop and left comments for each designer. If you were unable to leave a comment for any one, just state their name in this comment and you will still be entered into the drawing. This is meant to be fun, not stressful.

This card is water colored with SU markers and then I used the cracked glass technique. I made the bow with the Bow Easy. The image is framed with the Peony and Fancy tags spellbinders die. The For the Graduate stampset is full of verses and sentiments. While it is meant for graduation, the image and verses can used be used for a variety of occasions. This is my fave verse!
