Twinkles Glow with Stamps

Happy Thursday Everyone!! I hope you are all doing well!! Today is super busy and I will be gone most all day. Crazy!! I thought I better get my post up quick before running out the door.

Today is the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge!!! Lori sent each of the team member the link to this picture for our Inspiration from Pacific Perfume:

I was inspired by the cameo coral color and the pattern. I thought the pattern assimilated the Fleur De Lis pendant shape so I went with a pattern paper from SU that had a similar pattern and the Fleur De Lis Embossing Folder from Cuttlebug. I combined the Divine Diva Challenge with the Mojo 111 Sketch for this week and the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge as well.

Here is the Mojo Sketch:

The challenge for the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge was:

"Create something about when God is "unseen"; i.e., a scrapbook layout that reminds you that God is always with you; a card to encourage a friend and remind them that God is with them; or perhaps something to hang on your wall as a reminder."

I used the verse from Scripture Collection 2 at Our Daily Bread Designs. I stamped a pattern around the verse using the Blessed Christmas set (also from ODBD)

Card Recipe
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- Blessed Christmas, Scripture Collection 2
Paper: Cameo Coral, SU Designer Paper, Black, White
Accessories: ZVA Creative Flourishes (pearls), lace, American Crafts Ribbon, Prima Flower (Windsor Chelsea Roses), Hero Art Pearls

Be sure to check out the cards made by all the Divine Divas for this inspiration challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I can't believe I finally have this posted. It took me an hour and a half to fight blogger this a.m. It would not let me upload my pictures. Oh well...it is here now. I hope this isn't a sign how my day will be though. Have a great day!! Hope to stop by you all later this p.m. when I get home!!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!! Mine has been very busy but no rain!!!!! Woo hoo!! Today the sun is even out!!

Today I would like to share a card I made for today's Flutter By Wednesday Challenge!! I so look forward to Wednesdays when I can share these creations with you and see the rest of the teams take on the challenge. Today is another open challenge week where you can create a card or a project that only requires a fairy, a butterfly or an angel (for the upcoming holidays angels have been added).

For my creation I decided that I better get going on some Christmas cards. I am so behind!! I should join in the Christmas All Year Round Challenges so I don't get so far behind but I really have a hard time creating for Christmas at certain times of the year.

Anywho....on to my card....I used the Angel and Christmas Verses Stamp sets from Our Daily bread Designs. I colored the angel using prisma color pencils and gamsol. I added glitter to the wings. The background panel behind the image has poinsettias embossed in gold around the edges using the Blessed Christmas set from ODBD and then sponged it with ranger distress inks. The dp is from the Retired Su Holiday Treasures Paper Pack. I love this paper!

Card Recipe:
Stamps- Our Daily Bread Designs- Blessed Christmas, Christmas Verses and Angel
Paper- Bitter Chocolate, White, and Holiday Treasures from SU
Accessories: Label 4 Spellbinders, Riding Hood Red Ribbon, Corduroy button, Hero Arts Pearls, Fleur De Lis Embossing Folder, Gold Metallic Thread, Sewing Machine

I hope you are inspired to create a card for this weeks Flutter By Wednesday Challenge. If so, and you do create a card or project with an angel, butterfly or fairy, please leave a direct link to Mr. Linky here. If you upload your creation to SC or PCP, please use the keyword FBW. Happy Tuesday!!! Well today is a new sketch for Midnight Madness!! We had some glitches this a.m. since Priscilla has been very sick and was unable to post this week's challenge. Please bear with us today as we add the necessary info throughout the day. My thoughts and prayers are with Priscilla today!

Anywho...Here is the info. that I have to share in regards to this week's challenge:

Congratulations ladies....and thank you to all our players that join us each week.
Our sponsors for this week are Digi Stamp Characters by Heather Ellis who provided the DT with a few adorable digi images. Many of the dt used them for their sketches this week!
Our monthly sponsor is Michelle's Scrapbooking and More

Here is the sketch...

Here is my take on the sketch this week!!

I used the Cowgirl Lili image from Inky Impressions. Isn't she just darling!!! I water colored her with distress inks. The dp is retired Western Sky paper from SU. I have never made an easel card before so I thought it would be fun to make one for this week's sketch.

I hope this card and sketch inspires you to create! If you do use this sketch for your creation, please leave a direct link to Mr. Linky Here. If you upload your creation to SC, please use the keyword MMSC26. We look forward to seeing your creations!! For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:

Happy Sunday All!! Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs November Release Blog Hop!!!! If you came here from Angie Z's Blog, you are in the right place!! If you happened on my blog but did not start at the ODBD Blog you really should go there and and begin the hop. The reason is that there are secret words hidden along the hop which you need to collect along with the name of each designer. Upon the completion of the hop you will return to the ODBD blog and leave a comment that you have visited all the blogs. A special email address will be given to you so you can email the secret words and designer found in the correct order. That's all you have to do for the chance to win the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE. That is three great sets that will help you with all your card making needs just in time for Christmas!!!!!!!

Now.... on to my project for today!!! I made this card and ornament using the New Release Blessed Christmas stamp set. Our Design Team Challenge this month was to make a Holiday Card or project and make it shimmer. Unfortunately shimmer does not photograph very well especially on dark cloudy days, but let me tell you these projects shimmer!!!! ODBD owner, Kelley sent each dt member some very shimmery and yummy paper from SEI and one bottle of Tattered Angels Glimmermist. All the dt members cards will shimmer all over the place!!!

I stamped my sentiment in Gold Encore ink and heat embossed it with jeweled gold embossing powder. The poinsettia was stamped twice in gold Encore ink and heat embossed with Copper embossing powder, one was cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The poinsettia flowers were painted with Pearl Glimmermist very heavily. The leaves were lightly painted with Bronze Glimmermist for some antique color and lots of shimmer.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Blessed Christmas from Our DAily Bread Designs
Paper: SEI Moravia Paper, Bazzill Bitter Chocolate and Very Vanilla (SU), Gold Glitter Paper
Accessories: Oval Spellbinders, EK Success Moraccan Lace Punch, pearls, gold baubles, ric rac, Satin Ribbon, Tattered Angels Glimmermist- Bronze and Pearl

The ornament is created using the Blessed Christmas stamp set as well. It is heat embossed in Ranger copper embossing powder and then painted with Pearl Glimmermist (several layers). The leaves are colored with olive ink from the ODBD store. The flower is popped on dimensionals. The image is framed with Floural Accent Spellbinders die cut from Prism Copper Metalic Paper. There is a tutorial for creating a similar ornament here on Yvonne's blog.

Ornament Recipe:
Stamps: Blessed Christmas from Our DAily Bread Designs
Paper: Copper Prism Metallic Paper, Very Vanilla, K&Co. Green Glitter Paper
Accessories: Floral Accents from Spellbinders, Gold Baubles, Hero Art Pearls, Circle Spellbinders round and scalloped, Pearl Glimmermist from Tattered Angels

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my card and ornament. From here you need to go to the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog. Before you go...my secret word or phrase is Luke 2:11. Be sure to keep track of the dt names and their secret words as you go along so you can email them to the email address at the ODBD blog. You have until November 3 at 8 pm EST. to email this information to Grace for a chance to win the entire new release (3 sets)!!!

For one more chance to win....
