ODBD Bread Basket

Hello, Friends!! Happy Tuesday!!  I pray all are doing well and are looking forward to the upcoming Easter holiday!

What a beautiful time of year, Easter falls in!  A time when the birds begin singing and rejoicing, the flowers and plants begin to bloom symbolizing new life, and the grass turns green (a symbol of everlasting life).  I never thought this to be a coincidence as we celebrate the new life Jesus has given us through His death and resurrection at Easter!  While He died a gruesome death just for us so we may have life and live it abundantly, what a day of rejoicing it is to know that the punishment he bore for our sins gives us eternal life if we believe on Him.  What a gift!!!

The true meaning of Easter gives us hope when we lose a loved one or when we face trials of our own.  Today I would like to share a card that hope brings comfort to a friend going through a difficult time in her life.

Card Recipe:
ODBD Stamps Used: Grace's Hope, Trois Jolies Papillons, Elegant Oval Frames
ODBD Dies Used: Lavish Layers, Filigree Frames, Jolies Papillons, Double stitched Rectangles, Rectangles, Elegant Ovals, Stitched Ovals, Vintage Flourish Pattern, Flourished Star Pattern

For this card, I incorporated the ODBD Shining the Light challenge: ODBDSLC282, Lace and Scripture.  Instead of using real lace, I used Lacey dies!!  If you would like to join the challenge, you can find more details here.  The team would love to see your creations!! You have until April 3 at 8 PM Eastern time to join us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I so appreciate your visits and comments!!  May you have a blessed day!!

hugs,

Such a beautiful card, Chris, and I love this precious Scripture verse will be comforting to your friend! I love these amazing new dies, and the butterflies are gorgeous they way you've colored them! Yes, a blessed time we had remembering when Christ arose from the dead, defeating sin and death. May we be comforted in all the trials God allows into our lives, as we remember this world is not our home. Praying for you, dear friend, and sending hugs! xoxo
