ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, June 9, 2015
Hello, Friends!! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer!! We went on our first camping trip in almost two years since we were unable to camp last year because of my injuries and accident.  It was wet and rainy but none the less great to be together as a family in the RV!!! I had some challenges since I continue to have pain and still have to recover more from the accident, but I am none the less very blessed at the progress I have made and to still be alive.  Each day I see God's nature, wake up in the morning, see and interact with my children, I thank God for sparing my life!!  God is so good!!

Soon it is Father's Day and since I will be away on a Mission Trip with my girls prior and for Father's day, I thought I better make my hubby and Dads cards before I left.  My hubby loves this ODBD ship from The Waves on the Sea set, so I decided to combine it with the Good Man sentiment, Sunburst Background Die, Vintage Ephemera Collection paper, Vintage Labels die (for framing the sentiment), Layered Lacey Squares, Beautiful Borders die, Pennants dies.  I used this week's Shining the Light sketch at Our Daily Bread Designs.

Our Daily Bread Designs, Waves on the Sea, Good Man, Layered Lacey Squares die, Sunburst Background, Beautiful Borders, Pennants, Flourished Labels, Vintage Ephemera Paper Collection, designer Chris Olsen

ODBD Paper Used: Vintage Ephemera Collection

For more inspiration from my dt sisters, please visit them here:

If you would like to join us for the challenge, we would love to see your interpretation of the sketch.  You can link your creation or see more details above the challenge here until June 14 at 8 pm EST.  If we add your creations, we only ask that if you are not using ODBD stamps, you only add one creation and that your creations be posted on Splitcoast Stampers or a blog and not on facebook or Flicker (or another forum or site requiring signing in or being a member)

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you are in some way inspired by my creation.  Your comments are so greatly treasured and appreciated!!

blessings,

It is always a delight to stop by your blog and see all the BEAUTIFUL, creative and blessed designs you come up with. Know that you are a great inspiration to me. Thanks so much for sharing your art and also taking care of us as a team. Beautiful as always. Love that ship image too. The detailed dies and stenciled background finish this card wonderfully.
