Hello Friends!!
Today I am popping in to share a card I created for the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. This week's challenge is Anything Goes with ODBD stamps!! Better yet...it fits the Splitcoast CC524 color challenge: So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Strawberry Slush.
Here is my creation using the new God Quotes from the Anniversary Release!!
I had a good time using a variety of dies!! The quote is cut out using the ODBD Recipe and Tags die, framed with the Spellbinders Nobel Rectangles. It is layered with the ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Die.
For more takes on the challenge or inspiration, please visit my dt sisters!!!
Gracie, Paula, Diana, Robin, and Elizabeth
For more details on the challenge, please visit the ODBD Blog here. You have until April 5 at 8pm EST to join us!
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!!
blessings,
Chris

It is hard to believe that in a little over a week it will be Easter!!
Today I am popping in to share a card I created for the Shining the Light challenge at ODBD which is an Inspiration!!
I originally made a totally different creation for this challenge but decided to share this one instead. I took my inspiration from the scripture, the flowers, and the layout of the first picture in the inspiration. It is had to see since it is so faint but I stamped a green cross from Cross with Vines on my Neenah white paper and then used my stamping of the verse on vellum to make it more soft and subtle. It did not want the cross to interfere with my verse.
ODBD Dies Used: Aster, Fancy Foliage, Vintage Flourish Pattern
Spellbinders: Labels 25
The Pen was turned by my hubby and that is available in our Etsy Store Chisel Ink n More. It is a pen called the Phoenix. You can see more details here. All proceeds go to a mission trip for this summer for our girls, Nicki and Meghan.

I had so much for creating this card with scripture as the focal point!! Most all the materials are from the ODBD store other than the pearls, cardstock and silk ribbon. The Blushing Rose paper is one of my fave paper collections!!!

Hello Friends!!
Well last weekend we had ice and snow...Prayerfully the last of it!! With Easter in less than a month, I am so ready for Spring. Today I am sharing another card with easter flowers and the sketch for today's Shining the Light challenge at ODBD!!
ODBD Stamps Used: Let the Earth Rejoice, Basket of Blessings
Well last weekend we had ice and snow...Prayerfully the last of it!! With Easter in less than a month, I am so ready for Spring. Today I am sharing another card with easter flowers and the sketch for today's Shining the Light challenge at ODBD!!
The pen pictured above is part of our Esty store designed by my husband. The proceeds go to our daughter's mission trip. You can see more details here.
ODBD Dies Used: Faithful Fish Pattern Background , Circle Ornaments
ODBD Paper Used: Shabby Rose Collection
Matthew 20: 17-19
17 Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them,
18 "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death
19 and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"
While Easter is such a sad time as we think of how we crucified our Lord for our sin, it is such a happy time...a sign of new life for all those who believe!! It is symbolic that the flowers and beginning of Spring begin since the trees budding with leaves, brown grass turning green and flowers blooming are all symbols of new life!! Thanks be to God for His Unspeakable gift!!

You can join the Shining the Light challenge!! We would love to see your creations!! You can see more details here.

Hello Friends!! I hope all is well!! I hope you are all warm and safe....a couple more weeks until it is Spring here (at least by date). Only one month until Easter!! I am so ready not only for Spring flowers and the warmer weather. We have had so much snow in the last few weeks.
As we approach Easter, I know I reflect on how blessed I am to have a Savior who gave His life for me not for my works but by grace alone I am saved because I believe and have faith and trust in Him. If it were for works, I would be sunk!!! I am by no means perfect.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. John 3:16
Today's card uses the colors for the color challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs which is pastels. I went with the light blue, light purple, and green. My colors are a tad bit brighter but that was the closest I could get.
Here are the colors for the challenge:
For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters: Paula, Robin, Elizabeth, Gracie, Diana, and Chris
To join the challenge please see the details here. We look forward to seeing your creations!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
May God bless you!! Thank you so much for all your kind words!!

Here is a gift set I created using the Shabby Rose Collection, Basket of Blessings, Blessed Easter and Happy Resurrection Day stamp sets, and the Eggs die.
This first creation is an Easter basket I created using the Blessed Easter and Eggs die (for the tag) as well as the Shabby Rose Collection Paper. The cardstock is SU Pool Party. The panels are a heart border punch. The scalloped Edges are created with the Spellbinders Lacy circles die.
This second photo is of the card I created using the Happy Resurrection Day stamp set. The paper is from the Shabby Rose Collection. The sentiment is stamped on the Antique Labels die, and layered on the Vintage Labels , Vintage Flourish Labels die, and Adorning Labels 25 (Spellbinders)
and lastly is my candy wrapper that I displayed as a sneak peek...
The sentiment, from the Basket of Blessings stamp set, is cut out using the Elegant Ovals die from ODBD and layered on the Spellbinders Floral Ovals. I just love the soft Shabby Rose dp as the base with the soft sky.
.
Here are some of the new release items from ODBD used on my creation!!
