Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope you are having a wonderful beginning to your week!!  This past week end was not one of my better weekends.  Unfortunately while I was working with my husband mulching the yard, I broke my left leg.  I am now confined to the couch with my leg elevated.  The things that seemed so easy to accomplish or took for granted in life are now so difficult. This too shall pass and I am so blessed...it could be so much worse.  I meet with an orthopedic doctor this week to determine if my ankle needs pins or nots.  I am praying hard I do not...even if I do, however, I know God is with me.

Today I am popping in to share this week's Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light challenge: FLOWER word challenge.  Choose 4 letters and use them for the ingredients on your card.

My creation uses the new stamps and dies recently released at Our Daily Bread Designs: On Eagles Wings, Dad and Keep on Climbing.
The top image is framed with the captivating squares die from Spellbinders.

Our Daily Bread Designs, On Eagles Wings, Keep on Climbing, Dad, Chris Olsen

My letters in Flowers were: L- layers, W-Wings, E-Embossing, Eagles, R-rocks

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Linda Carson, Elizabeth Whisson, Diana Nguyen, Cheryl Scrivens, DJ Rants, and Robin Clendenning

To see all the creations in one place or join the challenge, click here.  You have until May 18th to join us. If you participate you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate toward ODBD stamps or to be spotlighted on the blog.  We would love to see your creations!!

Oh, Chris, it has been a hard weekend and my heart aches at the pain you are in! But I know that God will provide and am praying for you and your precious family in the days and weeks ahead! Your card is absolutely stunning! I just love this wonderful masculine card and how you have colored it with the eagle flying above and popped! I guess I need to get this and try my hand at it some day, because every time you use it, I love it! Tender hugs, sweet friend!

Chris your card is gorgeous! It is masculine, yet elegant with the embossed sentiment! I know your hubby loved it! Love the captivating squares die too. Just beautiful and perfectly colored!

Continuing to pray for you... may He give you relief from pain and discomfort, and patience to wait this time out while your body heals. Isn't it amazing how God created us in such a way that our bodies really do heal... bones re-knit together... skin heals, it really is amazing!

Gentle hugs,
Grace
