ODBD Bread Basket

Thursday, October 3, 2013
Happy Thursday friends!! I hope you are all enjoying the week!! I can't believe how fast time goes!! Here we are in October already and in fall. Soon it will be Christmas. I certainly am not ready for the colder weather or the snow. It has been gorgeous weather here in VA!! Today I have a card to share with you that I made for of the many to come. LOL! ...since I am behind.

For my card I stamped the candy cane from the Jesus is the Reason stamp set from ODBD over and over again to make my background and then embossed it with a Spots embossing folder. The big candy cane is from Candy Cane just released at ODBD this past Tuesday.

I just love the poem about the candy cane!!  What greater meaning can you give to the sweets or colors at Christmas than this poem!!

My second card is one I created for yesterday's SC457 sketch challenge at Splitcoast using the Jesus is the Reason stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs. It is a rather CAS card where I colored with real red and pretty in pink markers to color on the stamp and randomly stamped them on squares.

Thanks for stopping by!!
May God Bless you!!

These are so lovely! What a fabulous use of this great stamp set. Lovely message in both really - one spelled out and one less obvious but still as sweet. Your cards are wonderful. I love your work! Hugz - lots of them!
