Welcome to the ODBD August New Release!

Today Kelley is releasing some awesome new sets!!  You won't want to miss visiting my dt sisters for some great inspiration and a chance to win a prize!!

Prize Details:
Kelley will be choosing one random winner from one of the designers blog comments to receive a $50 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store  to be used towards the purchase of stamps.  You have until August 3, 2013 at 9:00pm EST to leave your comments on the designers blogs.  The Winner will be posted on the ODBD Blog on August 4th, so be sure to check back there to see if you have won.

Here are my projects....

.....using several of the new releases from Our Daily Bread Designs:

My first project uses the Peaches (verse), Strawberries and Pickles (smaller strawberry), and the Garden Minis stamp sets as well as the ODBD Customized Fanciful Foliage Dies.  I had fun coloring the strawberries with copics and cutting them out.  The verse is framed with the Spellbinders Lattice Motifs and A2 Filigree Delight Dies.

My second project uses the Blue Ribbon Winner, PicklesStrawberries and Pickles  and Canning Jar Dies.  The pickles inside my jar on my tag is filled with pickles that were stamped and masked using the larger pickle from the Pickles Set.  The Recipe Card uses the Recipe and Tag Die, The Recipe Card Lines as well as the Pickles, and Blue Ribbon Winner (small jar) New Release stamps.  The Pickles label and ~Dill Pickles~ is from the Pickles stamp set.

Here is a photo of the stamp sets and dies used:

Love the white background on the strawberries card. It makes your beautifully colored berries stand out deliciously. Your use of the pickle jar label on the jar of pickles is definitely a blue ribbon winner. Great use of that gorgeous vintage color on the recipe card.

Awesome projects. Anyone would love to receive a jar of pickles, and especially in the darling way you have presented it. Love the recipe card, too! What a treasure.

The sentiment you chose goes so well with the image of the strawberries, and gingham ribbon is a great with that, as well.

Thanks for sharing your cards!

Holy Cow!!!!!! Chris, seriously, you've blown me away here. How do you even think of this stuff - you even thought of coloring in a little pickle juice LOL!! And then there's your amazing strawberries - I'm certain these are the same strawberries I was cutting up for a snack the other day - I recognize them! And those were just as delicious as these are I'm sure. Love your work - and miss you too :).

Audrey
