ODBD Bread Basket

Thursday, May 10, 2012

Happy Thursday all!!  I hope all are well!! Our family has been sick with the stomach flu in fact I had to make this card while feeling completely dreadful...so I apologize for any imperfections.  Today I would like to share the Alumni Blog hop!!!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.  If you have come from Angie's blog you are in the right place, if not you may want to start back at the beginning at Kathy's blog for more chances to win.

This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop for the For the Love of ODBD Spellbinder's Compatible sets!Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, go to theODBD blog for the full link list.  One of the post is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate.  So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love!  You have until Wednesday,May, 23rd at 6 pm.  The winner will be announced May 24th!  Enjoy all the awesome inspiration using For the Love of ODBDSpellbinder's Compatible sets!

Now on to my creations:

This is the first card I made using the Mini Tags 3 Stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs which was cut out with the Grand Caliber and the compatible Ribbon Tags Trio Dies from Spellbinders.  The background of the card is stamped with the Grunge Butterfly Background in Green Galore (SU ink). The lacey frame is cut out with the  Lace Doily Motifs.  The outside frame is created with the Lotus Borderabilities Petite die from Spellbinders.  The bow is tied with the Bow Easy and May Arts Green Satin Ribbon.

My second creation is one that is more masculine and one that I made for this week's Pacific Celery Crumb cake challenge on Splitcoast stampers.

My niece and nephew are graduating this weekend from Liberty University with a degree in Youth Ministry. In two weeks they will be leaving to be missionaries in Hawaii so I thought the Happy Retirement and the Mini Tags 2 stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs would be perfect. As noted on the above card, the Mini Tags 3 stamp set is compatible with the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio Three dies.

Here are photos of the compatible stamp sets used on my cards that work with the Spellbinder's Ribbon Tags Trio Three.

Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you are somehow inspired by my creations!!  For more inspiration, the next stop on the hop is the exceptionally talented Lori.

This week Our Daily Bread Designs- Let Your Light Shine has posted another sketch for a sketchbook layout.  My dear daughter, Nicki, who is 12, and rarely posts on her blog made one of our darling new pet, Zoe.  I would appreciate if you would pop over and leave a comment for her.  It would really make her day.  Here is her blog.

Have a blessed Day!!!

hugs and blessings,
