Hope for a Cure!

Happy Hump Day all!!

Today the bread basket at Our Daily Bread Designs has a special event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness!! Kelley has created a special set called Prayer For a Cure in honor of the many who have been affected by this disease. Many have us know one or more cancer survivors, know someone who is going through treatment now, or some of you have lost a loved one in the past. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamp set sold during October will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Also....
The new "Praying for a Cure" set has been "bundled" with the previously released "Hope" set....purchase both sets and save 10%. Both of these sets offer encouraging sentiments and scripture to help lift up those in need, not only in regards to cancer, but for any trial in which God's comfort and safety is needed.

All through this month, many wonderful stampers have stepped in and contributed hand-made cards to those in need of love and encouragement. Our Daily Bread Designs is one of many sponsors for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Make sure to check out the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Forums. There are daily challenges and many prizes given away by the many generous sponsors. You can even win one of the 5 $50 gift certificates to the ODBD store!!

The "Breadsticks" listed below have created samples using the new "Praying for a Cure" set. Please visit each of the ladies below, leave a comment for each, and return to this post to let us know that you have visited them all. There will be three commenters selected to win a $20 gift certificate each from Our Daily Bread designs. You have until Thursday, October 27 at 8pm EDT to leave your comments. The winners will be announced Friday morning on the Flashback Friday Favorites post.

Here is my creation using the Praying for a Cure stamp set .

I had fun creating the flowers and the wire embellishment with pearl beads. The designer paper is My Mind's Eye Lost and Found,

This is spectacular! I don't know where to start. I will start with the tag. I love that Scripture...and it is so true...even when it comes to cancer. The lace is so delicate looking, as if it could have come from a wedding veil. The flower spray you made is AMAZING! I can not imagine how you made it so incredibly well. I like the ribbon that is in the center of the bouquet. I love the pearls and that beautiful flourish. Someone is going to be so thrilled to receive this card, Chris. You are incredible with such a big heart!
