Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! Today I and the rest of the Perfect Presentations team would like to share some 3d items or gift containers you can make using templates from Perfect Presentations.
Nothing shows someone you care like creating your own gift boxing. I decided to create a gift box using the Pop Top box template from Perfect Presentations created by Leigh Ann Baird. This template is available as a PDF file or an SVG file. They are so fun and easy to make!!
For my creation I used the new designer paper called Holiday Folly exclusively designed and sold at Whimsy stamps. The candle image matches the designer paper and is designed by Crissy Armstrong. It is available in the Peace on Earth Collection at Whimsy stamps.
I colored the image in copics and added gold metallic stitching and pearls on a scalloped circle panel. The image is also glittered.
For more inspiration and examples with these templates, please visit:

Happy Sunday Everyone!! This is going to be a very short post today since I am posting at the last minute before running out the door for our weekend excursion. Prayerfully we have a good trip and my coughing will stop...
This week's challenge is hosted by the dear and sweet Lisa!!
Lisa chose the verse:
Philippians 4: 13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
The challenge is:
Make a card/project of encouragement or congratulations.
I decided to make a card for my dear friend Mark who just lost his wife to cancer. I have sent him other cards as well but I know how difficult life without Ruby is so I plan to send him encouraging words every now and again to let him know we are praying for him and that our thoughts are with him. If anyone needs strength it is those who lost loved ones. Only the comfort and strength that God gives can comfort you from day to day...that and knowing Ruby is in Heaven dancing and singing and in her Father's arms.
For my card I used the On Eagles Wings set from Our Daily Bread Designs. The paper is from Basic Grey. Since it is a masculine card it has less detail than my normal cards....masculine cards are not my strength I am afraid...
I have two pictures here since I struggled taking umpteen pictures and none seemed to look right with the lighting...it is night and the colors just won't cooperate...doesn't help that I am coughing and my hands are unsteady...Sorry for the awful photo...
For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:
Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi, Meisje, Rebecca, and Patti
For the full devotional and challenge details please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This post is prescheduled since we did go on our trip for the weekend (hacking away and all....).
Anywho it is time for another Our Daily Bread Shining the Light challenge this week!!
This week's Challenge:
Well...December is just around the corner...and in most places of the USA comes the cold and/or snowflakes. So this week's challenge is to add snowflakes to your creation (this can be on the dp, punched, the image, your ribbon, and etc.)
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday,
December 2. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.
While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. If you are not using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, please do not submit your entry more than once or we will have to delete one entry. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by December 2 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC39. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.
Below is a candle I created using Peace and Joy, Christmas Blessings at Our Daily Bread Designs (Sneak Peak which is available now as a prerelease for the first time ever Here!!!!)
The snowflake from the Peace and joy set was embossed in gold directly on to the candle. I adhered the lace with short straight pins. Each snowflake has a blue gem on it. The snowflake on the bow is a button that I embossed in gold on the edges. The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings set. The ribbon is navy silk from May Arts.

We did....it was a quiet one with just our immediate family as we were trying to be on the mend so we could leave on our weekend adventure today. I hope we have a good time despite all our coughing, sneezing and the like...
Anywho...today is a new Wags n Whiskers challenge. This week our host is the sweet and ever so sweet Nikki!! Nikki has challenged us toWrap it up! - We would like to see your Gift Bag, Box or Tag. Yes that means no cards this time.

Happy Hump Day everyone!! I hope you are all having a good week and that those in the USA are all ready for the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow. We plan on having a quiet holiday with just our family especially since we are all still fighting the flu...Lord willing we will be better in time to make our trip to Lancaster PA for the weekend. We have been looking forward to this for quite a while and would be so disappointed if we could not go....
Anywho...Today is the day we have a new Your Next Stamp Challenge which is to case a dt members creation and a new Creative Belli challenge which is to use embellishments beginning with R. Since I have not been feeling well, I decided to combine the two...I cased my dear friend and dt sister Crystal. I chose to case this creation using the cute mini little monkey The rules of the challenge was to make it look like a true case where you can really tell it is a case so that is what I did just adding glittery paper which does not show up in the photo very well, different dp but in the same colors, layering my image in lacey borders, and adding ric rac (after all it starts with r as does red, ribbon, rhinestones and ruffle- perfect for the Creative Belli challenge).
The brown ruffled ribbon is velvet and from Making Memories. The embossing is using Cuttlebug's Happy Birthday folder. The red ribbon is 1/2 inch wrinkled silk from May Arts. The dp is SU Ski Slope. I framed the image with a scalloped nesties die and the Lacey circles die.

Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Unfortunately I have been feeling under the weather and pretty sick over the weekend so our family had a very lay low weekend. I originally was suppose to sing for church but that was not in the cards for me with my coughing fits and no voice. Oh well...this too shall pass.
I am not up to making cards right now so thank goodness I am not a procrastinator and work well ahead of time.
Today is another Stamp and Create Product Spotlight and this week's Spotlight is anything with food...So any stamps that include food in them will be up to 25% off this week.
For my creation I used the adorable Henry Christmas Mouse from Whiff of Joy! I can't get enough of dear Henry! He is for sure one of my faves! I colored Henry with copics. The paper is Cosmo Cricket Very Merry. The flowers are prima aqua roses available at Stamp and Create and some prima flowers I found at Michaels. The Sentiment is Whimsy's Holiday Ticket Sentiments. The scallops are cut out using the scallops die from Nestabilities.
The layout uses the Whiff of Joy sketch created by Tara.
I added texture using a soft swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug and distressed my edges. The snowflake is a button which I placed in the middle of a bow and hung gold bauble bells from.
My second card uses a sneak peak from Our Daily Bread Designs called Full of Grace- Blessings. I got some glittery dp from my scrap bin to create it (I know it is from DCWV but am unsure of the name). I just love the pink and black together. The flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid. As you can see I went die cut happy with my Lacey Squares die. Since the square was not big enough to frame my entire card, I used a die from the Fleur De Lis Frame set (Spellbinders) to piece in the middle. I put the Fleur de Lis symbol upside down.

In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by November 25 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC38. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.
Here is my take on the challenge for this week using Holly tags and the new tag die
at Our Daily Bread designs.
The embossing uses a Stampin up embossing folder on very vanilla paper. I added baubles on most of the flowers. The bow is created with burgundy silk ribbon from May Arts and some glittered balls and gold bell baubles. The gold around the borders is gold foil metallic paper. The sentiment panel is cut out with a punch.

So onto my blog hop creations! Since many are in the Christmas mode, including me, and trying to make gifts and cards for the holidays, I have decided to get started on my holiday gift giving. I have used three different miniature stamps and created little gift sets for each.
The first stamp used is the adorable Fhiona's Christmas tree. This can be used for tags and so many other things! I decided to make a little treat bag. I colored the tree with copics and added some sparkle to the star. The tag is cut out with a tag die from Our Daily Bread Designs. The dp is a retired paper from Stampin Up.
My next creation uses the adorable Ellie Loves to Bake Miniature. Karen has carried the larger Ellie Loves to Bake in her store but today she is releasing a miniature. This is just perfect for recipe cards so I created one. I posted a gift set with almond tarts last week and had so many requests for a recipe card, I decided to use that so you all can enjoy the recipe.
My last creation uses the adorable miniature Fhiona's Snowman...again the larger snowman is in the store but sometimes you need a smaller stamp...this is it. I made a little cute carton using the die from Stampin up. To accompany my gift set I made a little candy wrapper. The template for this easy candy wrapper is created by Leigh Ann Baird and is available here. The snowflake on the wrapper is a snowflakes die from Spellbinders. The dp on the milk carton is SU Ski slope (retired). The dp on the candy wrapper is SU Candy Cane (still available). The little snowflakes hanging on the carton are buttons.
So now it's time for you to hop on over to Linda Cumming's blog as she is the next stop on our hop, but I'd love it if you left me a comment before you go!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is a hectic day as I prepare to go to visit with the family of my dear friend Ruby. I pray I can be cheerful and give them strength or uplift them in some way again today in their loss of a wife, mother, sister and daughter. It is so hard...
Today I am posting two creations since tomorrow I will be attending a luncheon, funeral and memorial service and won't be able to post.
The first creation is created using the NEW Designer paper designed and created by Whimsy (Holiday folly and Very Merry) and the adorable Whimsy Holly Beary designed by Meljen's (this is a rubber stamp). The image is colored with copics.
The layout uses the Midnight Madness Sketch.

My second creation uses the adorable Fhiona's Gingerbread House from Your Next Stamp. It is colored with copics. The dp used is the new Basic Grey Curio paper. It is not a Christmas paper but it seemed to fit so beautifully with the warm tones. I embossed it with soft swirls from Cuttlebug.
