I made this card earlier in the week but have been waiting for the right day to post it since I have had atleast two creations on each day earlier this week. I made this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge:

Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge #28 - Colossians 3:17 - The challenge for this week is for you have free reign of what you want to do this week. But here's the deal: you are to actively do this as an act of worship to our God. Before starting, pray. Thank God for your gift. While working, feel free to pray more, or perhaps sing out to Him. Put your focus on Him and remember that it is He who gave you your gift (however good or bad you think you are at this) and remember that it makes Him happy to see you at work. Do this challenge, as if you were doing it for Christ himself! The verse for this challenge is:

Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

With Easter coming up, I thought this would be a nice one to make for this challenge and one that shares the true meaning of Easter.

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Easter Blessings
Paper: Pink Pirouette dp, Pink Pirouette cs, white cs
Accessories: MS lace border punch, Spellbinders Lattice pendant, scalloped and circle dies, ZVA Creative Pearls

When I saw that my dear friend and dt sister, Angie, was Sunday's featured stamper at Splitcoast Stampers, I had to play along!!! Congrats Angie!!! I cased this card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=84051 From Angie's Awesome gallery changing my stamp to Easter Blessings from Our Daily Bread Designs, omiting the piercing around the sentiment and adding pearls, framing my sentiment with the Lattice Pendant from Spellbinders, and changing my dp to Pink Pirouette Designer Paper from SU.

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great weekend!!!

Hello stamping friends! I hope you are having a lovely week so far! It's been a busy one for me...but that's always the case...with homeschooling my two girls, taking care of our household, church responsibilities and my card making. Today I have two cards or projects to share with you. Coincidently, they are both pink...to me these are spring or summer colors!!

First, since it is the first Thursday of the month...Lori from the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge has sent me this image as my inspiration for my creation:

I was greatly inspired by all the pink flowers, pearls, and tea cup. While I was perusing Michael's for some supplies I needed my eyes cam upon this paper box which immediately reminded me of this week's inspiration so I decided to alter it for today's inspiration creation.
The large Windsor London prima rose, May Arts Pink Satin Ribbon and the string of pearl flourishes from ZVA Creative with the small rose buds seemed to give it an elegant feel like the photo Lori sent. I then added the sentiment "Praying your day will be filled with Joy" from the Our Daily Bread designs Easter Blessings set framed in the Spellbinders Fancy Labels die and put the lattice border (Martha Stewart Lattice border punch) around the edge, and button for the flap. I plan to give this to my Mother for Mother's Day!! I hope she will like it.

Box recipe:
Paper box from Michaels
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs Easter Blessings
Accessories: large Windsor London prima rose, May Arts Pink Satin Ribbon and the string of pearl flourishes from ZVA Creative, Spellbinders Fancy Labels die, Martha Stewart Lattice border punch, button from stash, May Arts Prima rose buds (petite)

I also have some good news to share with you, a while ago...my dt sister and co-owner of Wags N WhiskersLacey asked me to design for her Stamp and Create store. I was so excited and just had to say yes. Her dt is so friendly and talented and Lacey is such an awesome person to work with that I am honored to become a part.
She carries such a wide variety of stamps and supplies in her store!! If you have not seen her online store, you should really check it out here.

This week, the Product Spotlight at Stamp & Create is Stampavie Stamps. Stampavie carries a few stamp lines by different artists and they are all too cute and sweet!

The artists are: Sarah Kay, Penny Johnson, Helz Cuppleditch, Gillian F. Roberts, Rachelle Anne Miller, and Mo Manning.

For the Product Spotlight Special this week, all Stampavie stamps that are in-stock at Stamp and Create are 25% off. This excludes the Spring/Summer release pre-order.

However, speaking of the pre-order, you can still pre-order all of the images new release images.

The card I am sharing with you today uses one of the Stampavie stamps from the Sarah Kay line called: My Sweet Lili. I colored her with Distress inks. I also used some Basic Grey Eva paper, American Crafts Jewel Brads, Large Star Spacer, and the Bow Easy from Lacey's Stamp and Create Store. I had so much fun creating this card while the snow was coming down in these spring and summery colors.

For more inspiration or examples of products made by the team using Stampavie products, please visit my dt sisters: Lacey and Jeanette. At Jeanette's blog on this same link you will also see an awesome tutorial on how she colors with copics!!!

I actually am using both at the same time going one to the next when the other is not working as it should. Oh well, hopefully it gets better soon!!

Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet comments. I so enjoy reading them and being inspired by your comments . I hope you enjoyed today's post and that your day is full of sunshine!! The Sun is here today!!! Woohoo!!

Leave a direct link to your creation in Mister Linky. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW.We can't wait to see what YOU create!!

Here is my creation:

I Was inspired By Tinkerbell. I decided to make a Photo Album cover for my Tinkerbell Fan, my youngest daughter Meghan. Since I did not have a stamp with it I used a Tinkerbell sticker which is 3D. The paper is from Martha Stewart and is all glittery. There is lots of sparkle to this album!! I Framed the image with a Lattice Pendant Die from Spellbinders. The circle is embossed with Victoria from Provocraft. This ribbon is some of my fave!! Love the color. It is May Arts Satin Ribbon. The letters I typed using Segoe Script and then punched with my small circle punch.

Here are my creations for today's hop:

For today's creation, I decided to make a matching gift set using the Easter Blessings stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs (Released today!) The image is stamped on water color paper, colored with watercolors, and cut out using my Labels 13 die. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and overlays the image. Both panels are pierced. I then used the small die from the Fleur De Lis Die set to frame my image panel. The paper is from K&Co. Tim Coffey. The bottom border is punched with the MS Flower Vine punch.

card recipe:
stamps: Easter Blessings from Our Daily Bread Designs
paper: baja breeze, bitter chocolate, K&Co. Tim Coffey
Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur De Lis, Spellbinders Label 13, MS Flower Vine punch, Zva Creative pearls, Satin ribbon, Vellum, textile embossing folder

The Gift to go box is created using a template from Leigh Ann Baird just release yesterday. Isn't it a fun little container. I always loved the shape and design of the Chinese Take out Boxes and it looks very similar. Again I water colored my image, cut it out, and popped it up on dimensionals in a labels 13 dry embossed die shape.
Gift to go Recipe:
Stamps: Easter Blessings from Our Daily Bread Designs
Paper: Tim Coffey from K&Co. and Bitter Chocolate
Accessories: Labels 13 Spellbinders die, satin ribbon, textile embossing folder from Provocraft
