Hello friends! I hope you are all well!

Today I'm sharing a sneak peek at some new products to release on Oct. 1, tomorrow at Our Daily Bread Designs.  These products are available for pre-release now!

I used one new ornament stamp set and two new dies:  and Elegant Embellishments along with the matching dies:Elegant Embellishments Dies and Tree Trimming Trio dies.
To create these tags I used the bookmarks die for my bookmark design and three different metallic papers.  The bookmarks are doubled or reversable for durability and strength.

The first ornament uses the Tree Trimming Trios die and the Snowflake background with blue ink and holographic embossing powder.

The second, uses copper embossing powder, copper metallic paper, Fancy Ornaments dies cut from white glitter paper, Elegant Embellishments stamps, and the Snowflake background

And lastly, this bookmark tag was created using the Elegant Embellishments stamps and dies.  The ornament itself is stamped in navy and embossed with holographic embossing powder.  The bottom of the bookmark is embossed with a lattice embossing folder.  The sentiment is cut with the Elegant Ovals dies and includes a sentiment from Elegant Embellishments.

Tomorrow is the release!!  I think you will love the new dies and stamps.  They are great for cards, giftsets, ornaments, and tags!! You won't want to miss it!!!  Hope to see you there!! Have a blessed day!!

Hello, Friends!! I hope you have been having a blessed day thus far and you all are doing well!!

Today I am popping in to share a creation I made for this week's ODBDSLC256 Create Your Own Background challenge at ODBD!!  I had so much fun using some new goodies on my creation that are not even released yet: The Tree Trimming Trio stamps and matching die sets and the O Come, Let us Adore Him die!!  I can see making a lot of fun Christmas cards with these sets.  I have so much to do in the way of Christmas cards before the holidays!!

I had fun creating a background by embossing the Snowflake Background in Holographic embossing powder and inking it over in Night of Navy ink.  It is so shimmery in person, especially with the O Come, Let us Adore Him cut from Glitter paper and the layering of another die cut in navy. The ornaments (stamped and die cut using the Tree Trimming Trio stamp and die set) are layered on a piece of light silver glitter paper.

While Christmas is a time of celebration, we all can rejoice each and every day for our blessings!!  We not only can thank God for sending His Son as a baby and later for the gift of His death and resurrection for our salvation, but our everyday blessings!!

I Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
*****************************
You say, but I am suffering, with one health issue after another, a loved one has passed on, it has been the worst day ever or etc. When Jesus died on the cross, He gave thanks.  He was not giving thanks for the agony He was going to face on the cross, but for the outcome of that suffering, His future joy!

So what do you have to be thankful for in the future, the very best possible future you could ever imagine if you believe on Him!!
-You will have the free gift of complete forgiveness of all your sins extending into forever (Romans 6:23).
-You will never have to earn salvation or justification by keeping the law. Grace is free and does not come from anything you can do (Galatians 2:16) other than believing on Him.
-You will receive all the grace you need at all times so that you will abound in every good work God has for you (2 Corinthians 9:8). This does not mean that times will not be tough but rather that God will be with you to help you through it.-God will complete the good work he began in you (Philippians 1:6).-Once you die, you will be raised from the dead and never, ever die again (1 Corinthians 15:52–53). -Upon your death, you will see Jesus, be with him (2 Corinthians 5:8), and be like himIn that day, you will know for the first time, full joy. You will be completely free from all corruption or suffering (Romans 8:21).You will have God forever as your exceeding joy.

11 See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
12 Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
   is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Song of Solomon 2:11-13

Blooming flowers and Springtime is a promise of renewal just as our Lord promises that when we receive and accept His Son we will be renewed, reborn.  No wonder, flowers make so many happy or feel renewed!!

Here are the stamps and dies used for the card above:

Hello, friends!! I had a moment more to craft, so I thought I would share it with you!! Aquariums and the ocean have always been soothing and calming for me.  Ask my hubby...if I am ever upset, you will see me staring at the fish in our aquarium.  It is my way of being "still" or "taking time to smell the roses" so to speak.

I had so much fun coloring up this scene!!  I will be using it for my hubby on our 18th wedding anniversary in January!!  I know, I am a little ahead but with it being Jan. 3 and so close to being away visiting family and the holidays, it is so easy to not have the time to create a special card.  Since I had this set out and he LOVES fish especially tropical or salt water fish, I thought this would be perfect.

Our Daily Bread Designs, designed by Chris Olsen, Deep Sea, leafy edged border, fish pattern die, ornate hearts die, boho background die

ODBD Stamps Used: Deep Sea
ODBD Dies Used: Leafy Edged BorderFish Pattern Ornate Hearts, Boho Background

This card fits the ODBDSCL255 challenge which is to be inspired by the photo or quote, "All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small...." You can see more details here.

I hope you have a blessed day!! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments!!

Hello, Friends!!  I hope this post finds you all well!!

Today I am popping in to share a fun card I created for the ODBD Shining the Light Inspiration Challenge!!  I had so much fun creating and coloring this scene!!  I love cardinals!!! With each passing day, I look forward to the songs, decorations, and celebration of His birth(but not winter!!)!!

Our Daily Bread Designs, Cardinal Ornament, Circle Ornament die, Matting Circles DieLeafy Edged Border die, Elegant Ovals, Vintage Labels, Created by Chris Olsen

ODBD Dies Used: Leafy Edged Border, Vintage Labels, Circle Ornaments, Matting Circles, Elegant Ovals

The word "noel" means Christmas Carol. Every year, people sing songs like “The First Noel” at Christmas, and many wonder what a “noel” is. In French, joyeux noel means “Merry Christmas.” Our modern English word comes from the Middle Englishnowel, which Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defined as “a shout of joy or Christmas song.” The roots of the word are the French noel (“Christmas season”), which may come from the Old French nael. This, in turn, is derived from the Latin natalis, meaning “birth.” Since Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ, it was natural for people to refer to the celebration as the “nativity” or the “birth.”

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

The ODBD Shining the Light challenge is to be inspired by the photos or quote.

Here is the inspiration photo.

Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word!! Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars!  Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and flying birds! Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and rulers of the earth!! Young men and maidens together, old men and children.

Psalm 148:7-12

We hope you are able to join us!!  You have until Sept. 27 at 8 pm EST to add your creation to the linky.  For more details or to add your creation, please click here.

Hello, Friends!!  Today through September 30, Kelley is offering an awesome opportunity to preorder the October Christmas Release at Our Daily Bread Designs!! These are gorgeous sets and you won't want to wait!!  Pre-orders will begin being sent out on October 1st.

Here is the first creation I made using the October Delightful Decorations Dies and Stamps and the new Christmas 2015 Paper Collection!

Our Daily Bread Designs, Vintage Flourish Pattern dies, Mini Tags dies, Beautiful Borders Die, Delightful Decorations stamps and die set, Christmas 2015 Paper collection, designed by Chris Olsen

Other ODBD Materials used from previous releases:

I decided to make a window card so I used the Vintage Flourish Pattern Die for the window by putting a backing on one side of my card using the new Christmas 2015 paper and Neenah White cardstock.
The ornament was created by cutting a black and white piece of cardstock at the same time through my Bigshot Pro so they fit together like a puzzle.  All the holes in the die were filled in with the black paper.  I then used a matte modge podge over top to protect and adhere the pieces.  The paper bow is from the Circle Ornaments die

The second creation uses the Elegant Embellishments stamps and die sets as well as the Flourished Alphabet! The paper is from the Christmas 2015 Paper collection also to be released on Oct. 1.

Our Daily Bread Designs, designed by Chris Olsen, Elegant Embellishments stamps and dies, Flourished Alphabet, Vintage Flourished Pattern die, leafy edged border die, Elegant ovals die, circle ornaments die

The bottom of the card is created with the Leafy edged border dies and Victorian Flourish Pattern die.  The sentiment is cut and framed in the Elegant ovals die.  The bows are created with the Circle Ornament dies.

Blessings,

Hello Friends!! I can't believe how fast time flies and that fall is upon us!!  I love the fall leaves and all the colors, but I am so going to miss my flowers, especially my daylilies!!  I love seeing all the different colors and varieties.  Each day is a new surprise!!  Anyone who knows anything about daylilies knows that blue daylilies is what every hybridizer hopes to achieve.  So today, I had fun coloring and creating my own blue daylily with the ODBD Beauty stamp set.  The actual stamp used is supposed to be a stargazer lily but the fun of stamping is that you can create and imagine anything you would like your image to be!!!

Our Daily Bread Designs, created by Chris Olsen, Beauty, Leafy Border dies, Boho Background die, Mini tag sentiments, Mini Tag dies, Ovals dies, Stitched Ovals dies, Doily die, Star Flourished Pattern Dies, Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies

ODBD Stamps Used: BeautyMini Tag Sentiments

The background is created with the dry embossing resist technique. I had fun using almost amethyst throughout!!  The bottom curvy border is created using the Leafy Edged Border die. The bottom corner is created using the Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  The silver border is embossed with the Star Flourished Pattern die.

Luke 12:27
Consider the lilies, how they grow, they neither toil nor spin, but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.  28 But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He Clothe you?  You men of little faith!

God cares more for you than the birds of the air, the flowers in the field...it is not amazing how He cares for them.  We need not worry about tomorrow...God is there.  Each day has enough worries of its own.

Hello, Friends!!  ODBD does not only have one release this month, they have two!! This month there is a special mid-month release with lots of fun and beautiful stamps and dies!!

Not only does the team have lots of inspiration for you, there is also a chance to be one of three randomly chosen winners to receive a $25 gift certificate toward stamps!!!  All you have to do is leave comments on each of the designers blogs and three random winners will be chosen from the comments left on the different designers blogs!!  The winners will be announced on the ODBD blog on September 16.

Here is my creation using the new stamp set: Beauty, and the new Dies: Leafy Edged Borders and Pretty Posies dies!!

In addition to the new releases, The Vintage Flourished Pattern dies, Stitched Ovals dies, and Fancy Foliage dies were used.  The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Dotted Squares.  I had so much fun adding texture, stitching,  and inking and embossing the leaves and flowers!!  I can see lots of different uses for these flowers!!

My second creation uses the Beauty Stamp set and the Leafy Edges Borders from the new releases as well as the edges of the Vintage Flourished Pattern die to emboss a frame around the image.  I just love how the flower pops against the white and the leafy border die adds such elegance.  In addition to coloring the image with copics, I added stitching, piercing, and embossing with a swirled frame embossing folder and a Daisy flourish embossing folder.  The anther of the flower is embossed in gold.
