Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope you are enjoying the weekend.  It is suppose to be a beautiful day here!!

Today I am popping in to share this week's Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs.

This week's Challenge:
This week the team is challenging you to make a clean and white creation without any dp.  The only colors should be embellishments or the coloring of your images.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, September 23. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by September 23 at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC30. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge:
For my creation I used the Blessed Christmas and Sing to the Lord stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs (the sentiment is from Sing to the Lord).  I colored my image with copics and added silver baubles for my colors against the white.  The image is framed with Lacey Circle Spellbinders and the Fleur De Lis Spellbinders.  A little embossing and some lace and white ribbon and my creation is complete.

Happy Hump Day everyone!! I hope you are all having a great week.  It has been gorgeous here lately and I am trying to take advantage and get things done and enjoy this cool weather.

I just love Fall!!

Anywho...it is time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp.  We had such a great time viewing all the anything goes challenge.  This week's hostess is the fabulously talented and sweet Sylvia.  Sylvia's YNS challenge is to make a Thank you or Thanksgiving challenge!!  While it is not required to use a YNS challenge for the challenge, we would love to see them if you have them and you may only enter one NON YNS creation per challenge.  You can link your creations here.

Here is my take on the challenge using the adorable Girlfriends image from Your Next Stamp. The sentiment is computer generated. The tree branches are created with a fern stamp from the Stampin up Touch of Nature set.  The image is colored with copics.  I decided it would be fun to create a Spring Card since I had never made one of these before.  I love challenging myself to something new.  It keeps things interesting.

Here is my take on the Thank you or Thanksgiving challenge:

Card Recipe:
stamps: Girlfriends image from Your Next Stamp,
             Stampin up Touch of Nature
Paper: Bitter Chocolate, Baja Breeze, Baja Breeze dp, SU Parisian Breeze dp
Accessories: SU Oval punches, MS Butterfly punches, silk ribbon, lace, prima roses, Spellbinders Laced Squares
