Hello, Friends!!  I hope this post finds everyone well.  It has been a while since I have posted.  I apologize for my absence.

It has been quite busy and eventful for our family. Not only is my husband out of work but last week we were again reminded about how small and fragile we all are.  There are no guarantees in life.  While we may wake up in the morning, there is no telling what we will face during the day.  Last week Wednesday, our town was hit not with not only one but 4 tornadoes.  It was truly scary looking out our basement windows not knowing if our home would be hit or not.  While we are thankful for only minimal wind or rain damage at our home and only electricity loss for 2 days, 5-7 miles away, people were not as lucky.  Forty-five homes were totally obliterated and 200 homes were damaged; one life was lost.  While we thank God for his provision, especially for one of our friends whose son was in the house basement when the house was totally obliterated, we know God holds our lives in His Hands.  He knows what our future holds.  Have you trusted Him for your future!!  Life is fleeting!!  Do you know where you will spend eternity.

While my husband continues to be laid off and we are trying to make ends meet, this reminds yet again how God provides and that it could always be worse.  Thank God for His Provision.  May God be with all those affected by the tornadoes!!

Job 12:19
9"Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this, 10In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?

Acts 17:28

For in him we live and move and have our being.'

John 15:21-23

For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

This is a thank you card that I created using the Mighty Sea, On Eagles Wings, and With Much Thanks.  It was colored with copics.  The sky was sponged using a scalloped oval as a stencil for the clouds on the back panel as well as the sea image sky.

Hello, Friends!!  Today the breadbasket will be sharing cards or projects they created with the new stamp and die sets just released at the beginning of February!! You won't want to miss the inspiration from the team.

While the beginning of this week began with snow and ice and very cold temperatures in the single digits and teens, today and this week are warming up.  Tomorrow, here in Virginia, it is said to be 65 degrees!  Spring will be here before you know it and so will Easter.

Today I would like to share an Easter card made with the new Flourished Happy Easter stamp set.  The background of the card is created by stamping the Fragrance image and coloring it with copics. The sentiment is cut out and framed with the Ovals and Stitched Ovals die sets. The border is created with the Beautiful Borders dies.  The border of the card is created with the Flourished Star Pattern die.

Hello, Friends!! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Life has been keeping me on my toes with less time available to stamp or create.

Not only have I had a lack of time, however, my mind has been occupied making it difficult to be creative.

My husband has just been laid off from his job and my time and mind needs to be focused on how to pay our bills and bring in some income. I know God has always provided and will do so but it does not mean it will come easy or that I can sit here and just wait, but rather I must actively seek.  Now more than ever is when I need to not only remember but believe my favorite verse: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on thine own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
If only we could see the finished side from God's perspective and trust that He knows what He is doing.  After my experience with my pulmonary embolism, the move we made from New York to Virginia and Scott's layoff 3 years ago, I know we came out much stronger knowing God was with us from start to finish and it all turned out o.k. When you are in the midst of the trial, however, it is not always easy.

Today I am sharing a card I created using the ODBDSLC270 sketch.  It uses the Fragrance image.  I just love these roses!!

Hi, Friends!!  It has been a while since I have posted 2 days in a row!!  Our recent snowstorm last week, and being caged in the house for a few days, enabled me the opportunity to create some cards!!

Today I am popping in to share a card I created using the sketch for this month's ODBD Shining the Light challenge!!
Our Daily Bread Designs, Daisy, With Much Thanks, Double Stitched Rectangle dies, Ovals dies, Stitched Ovals dies, Elegant Ovals dies, Pennant Dies, Flourished Star Pattern dies, Layered Lacey Squares dies, Pastel Paper Pack, designed by Chris Olsen

For my creation I used the Daisy image, colored it with copics, and cut it out with 2 different sizes of the elegant ovals dies to create a frame.  The sentiment is from the new release With Much Thanks and is cut out and framed with the Ovals and Stitched Ovals dies. The elegant ovals frame is mounted on dimensionals and framed with the Ovals and Stitched Ovals dies. Those ovals are mounted on squares and a border created with the Layered Lacey Squares dies.  The banner strip behind the squares are created with the Pennant dies and Pastel Paper Pack.  The background is embossed with Sizzix Dotted Squares embossing folder.  The border of the card is created with gold metallic paper and the Flourished Star Pattern die. The embossed white layer is cut from the Double Stitched Rectangles.
