Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!!

Today I am poppin in to share a new challenge for Stampin Sisters in Christ.  This week's host is the sweet and talented, Lisa!!

Lisa chose the scripture:
Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Lisa is challenging us to use the colors blue (still waters) and green (green pastures) in our creation.

Here is my creation for this week's challenge:

My box is created using the Be Mine Template created by Leigh Ann Baird available at Perfect Presentations.  The image is Wags N Whiskers- He Loves Me which is available as both a digi or rubber stamp. The designer paper is from Die Cuts With a View- Linen closet.  The layout uses the Papertake Weekly sketch.  The flowers are from ZVA creative.  The charm I bought at Michaels.  The fern springs are a Martha Stewart Punch.  The image is framed with a Spellbinders Lacey circles and classic circles dies.

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp CHA Release BLOG HOP!

We are so excited here at YNS because Karen has taken YNS to CHA for the very first time! That's right, as you're reading this Karen will be at Winter 2011 CHA at booth #4518! WOO-HOO!!

So to celebrate this event, YNS is releasing some fab new YNS stamps just in time for CHA. You may have already caught a sneak peek of some of them last week over at the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog, but today you get to see all 9 World Kids stamps plus a fabulous new Celebrate Collection from HR Designs and 7 new mini stamps.

These new stamps are available to buy right now from the Your Next Stamp store along with all your YNS favorites.

Of course we couldn't let this release pass by without having a fun blog hop! We also have 4 fabulous guests joining us for our hop - the amazing Tori Wild, Cindy Haffner, Carole Burrage and Maylee Pham!

If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from Beth's blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the start of the hop at Kerri's blog, as you don't want to miss these fab new releases!

The hop starts today (28 January 2011 at 08:00 EST) and ends on 2 February 2011 at midnight EST.

As always here at Your Next Stamp, we have a wonderful prize for you to win! One lucky winner will be drawn at random from the links in the linky list to receive their choice of 3 of the new World Kids stamps!

You will see that every stop along the hop has a linky list - this is the SAME linky list posted on every blog, so that you can enter the prize draw from any stop (although we hope you will visit all the blogs on today's hop!). The linky will update itself on everyone's blog when a link is entered - how cool is that? Please remember to only enter your name ONCE into the linky list during the hop - you do NOT need to enter your name at every stop and multiple entries will be removed. It's not a requirement for you to comment at every stop along the hop to be eligible to be entered into the prize draw, but the DT would sure love to hear what you think of their new release creations!

Karen is also running some special bundle promotions, so be sure to hop on over to the YNS store once you've finished the hop. If you order all 9 World Kids stamps in one bundle, you will save 15% over the cost of buying them individually!

So onto my blog hop creation! I have used India, Scottish, Dutch, Alaska, Irish and Japan  stamps to make a banner. Each oval is cut out with the Beaded oval Nestability for the frame and the oval for the inside.  Each is embossed with a different embossing folder from Provocraft.  The sentiment is typed on my PC.  Please bear with me on all my photos .....

I hope you are all well!!  I am very busy but very relieved!!  My dear friend Crystal encouraged to take my sewing machine apart and look if something was jammed.  Well I did not see anything jammed but I did find out what the problem is....Now I have my sewing machine back!!!!  I feel like I just made $150-$400 just by not having to fix or buy a new sewing machine.  Woo hoo!!

Anywho...Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I thought I would just share a little something that I made to give to a friend for Valentine's Day.

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend!!  Mine went o.k. but I am saddened to say that my sewing machine broke!!!  That is right, no sewing until I get it fixed or get a new one.  It is hard for me to think that I will be unable to include stitching on my creations...guess cards will take me less time to create without stitching and more time if I decide to hand stitch them!!!
I did manage to get my home school reports done!  Woo hoo!!!! Big accomplishment for me...not much crafting this weekend.  I took a break and really needed it to spend some quality time with the girls and Scott.

Anywho....enough about me....This week it is time for another Product Spotlight at Stamp and Create!!  In addition to a product spotlight, that means that the spotlighted item is also up to 25% off!!!!!

This week's spotlight is:
On Sale through Sunday for 25% off
(Limit 3 per customer)

The Bow Easy is the best tool around for creating the perfect bow.If you are unfamiliar with how to use the bow easy, my talented dt sister, Jeanette, created a Video Tutorial awhile ago using the Bow Easy.
former Guest Designer Sharon created a Pictorial Tutorial as well (Sharon shows a "double bow" in her tutorial).

Each of the designers made a creation to showcase the Bow Easy. This is what I created:
I used the Wags n Whiskers, Say a Prayer image, which is available as a digi or a rubber stamp. I also used the bow easy, May Arts Mauve silk ribbon, and Kaiser Craft Blush Pearls
available at Stamp and Create.

The layout for my card uses the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.

The lush paper is Kaiser Craft English Rose!! Isn't it gorgeous.  I received this from Susana Custom Arts and Designs this week.  I love this paper so much that I will be back for more!! LOL!  Lacey, carries a ton of beautiful Kaiser Craft paper at her store, Stamp and Create, as well but not this particular pad.  The flowers are from Wild Orchids.

For more inspiration using the bow easy, please visit my dt sisters:

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!  I hope everyone is warm and safe!!  We had 4-5 inches of icy mix yesterday.  So beautiful to look out but not advisable to drive in that is for sure.  It felt so cozy looking out the window.

Today I would like to share 2 creations for 3 different challenges and teams.

Being a Wednesday...it is time for a new Creative Belli, Your Next Stamp, and Whiff of Joy Challenge creation!!

The first creation is made to meet both the Creative Belli and Your Next Stamp challenge.  This week's YNS challenge is hosted by the sweet and talented Linda.  Linda's Challenge Theme is "Baby It's Cold Outside..." That it is here!!!  Anywho...she challenges us to create a winter scene.  The Creative Belli Challenge us to use things beginning with "P"  so I colored up the adorable Ellie building a Snowman from Your Next Stamp (YNS).  I colored with my copics in pastels, mainly pink, and added pattern paper, pink silk ribbon, punched borders and pearls for embellishments.  The patterned paper has snowflakes on it and is a very old pattern paper from Bo Bunny that I have hoarded in my stash forever!!!  I added snowtex to give the card dimension and a real snow feel.

For more inspiration for the YNS challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

The second creation is for the Whiff of Joy challenge.  The Whiff of Joy Challenge was to use teal, cream and chocolate.  I just love this combo so it was so fun for me!!!  Rather than make a card, however, I decided to make a matching set with the Whiff of Joy Henry Celebrating Mouse.  I just adore this cute little mouse!!

I colored him with copics.  The dp is from Cosmo Cricket Material Girl and from K&Co.  I used the sketch from Gem Of A Challenge.

The teal green trim is velvet leftover in my stash and the lace is May Arts Champagne Net that I recently received from my friend Ann but it also can be purchase here.  The flowers are prima French White Fairytale roses and Prime Lilliput Lime cooler Roses.  The ivory ribbon is May Arts Silk. The dies I used included the Spellbinders Lacey circles and standard circles and the Sizzix Top Note Die available at SU.

This box is a cupcake box that I created for my sister in law whose birthday is tomorrow!!  I used the Hey Cupcake template designed by Leigh Ann Baird available at Perfect Presentations.

For more creations using this fun sketch, visit my extremely talented dt sisters:
