Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!!
Today I am poppin in to share a new challenge for Stampin Sisters in Christ. This week's host is the sweet and talented, Lisa!!
Lisa chose the scripture:
Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Lisa is challenging us to use the colors blue (still waters) and green (green pastures) in our creation.

Happy Hump Day Everyone!! I hope everyone is warm and safe!! We had 4-5 inches of icy mix yesterday. So beautiful to look out but not advisable to drive in that is for sure. It felt so cozy looking out the window.
Today I would like to share 2 creations for 3 different challenges and teams.
Being a Wednesday...it is time for a new Creative Belli, Your Next Stamp, and Whiff of Joy Challenge creation!!
The first creation is made to meet both the Creative Belli and Your Next Stamp challenge. This week's YNS challenge is hosted by the sweet and talented Linda. Linda's Challenge Theme is "Baby It's Cold Outside..." That it is here!!! Anywho...she challenges us to create a winter scene. The Creative Belli Challenge us to use things beginning with "P" so I colored up the adorable Ellie building a Snowman from Your Next Stamp (YNS). I colored with my copics in pastels, mainly pink, and added pattern paper, pink silk ribbon, punched borders and pearls for embellishments. The patterned paper has snowflakes on it and is a very old pattern paper from Bo Bunny that I have hoarded in my stash forever!!! I added snowtex to give the card dimension and a real snow feel.
For more inspiration for the YNS challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

The second creation is for the Whiff of Joy challenge. The Whiff of Joy Challenge was to use teal, cream and chocolate. I just love this combo so it was so fun for me!!! Rather than make a card, however, I decided to make a matching set with the Whiff of Joy Henry Celebrating Mouse. I just adore this cute little mouse!!
I colored him with copics. The dp is from Cosmo Cricket Material Girl and from K&Co. I used the sketch from Gem Of A Challenge.
The teal green trim is velvet leftover in my stash and the lace is May Arts Champagne Net that I recently received from my friend Ann but it also can be purchase here. The flowers are prima French White Fairytale roses and Prime Lilliput Lime cooler Roses. The ivory ribbon is May Arts Silk. The dies I used included the Spellbinders Lacey circles and standard circles and the Sizzix Top Note Die available at SU.
This box is a cupcake box that I created for my sister in law whose birthday is tomorrow!! I used the Hey Cupcake template designed by Leigh Ann Baird available at Perfect Presentations.
For more creations using this fun sketch, visit my extremely talented dt sisters:

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!! It is very cold here and we had about 8 inches of snow...it is so cozy inside. My dear hubby and I were on a mission to clean up all the Christmas decorations and CLEAN HOUSE. Not too much crafting this weekend but it felt to get clean and more organized again.
Any who....today is the first challenge for Stampin Sisters in Christ for the 2011 year. I am so blessed to be this week's host, choosing this week's verse and challenge.
The verse I chose is from the book of Ruth.
May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
Ruth 2:12
The verse above is one spoken by Boaz, her future husband, praising her faithfulness to God and her mother in law. Ruth is a very Godly women who leaves everything behind to follow God's leading and do what is best for her mother in law (her husband and her father in law passed on). I am humbled and greatly admire Ruth for her faith. There is much I can learn from her.
Many make resolutions in January for the new year. I am not much for resolutions since I rarely follow through but I am committed to live a life of faith...a promise to follow God’s will and not do what is only right for me but to think of God and others first and foremost.
For more of my devotional, please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ.
The challenge this week is to use wings on your creation.
I chose to make a gift box to match the card. I used the Pop n Top Template from Perfect Presentations and the Basic Grey Curio designer paper. The butterfly is created with the Butterfly stamp and butterfly die from Our Daily Bread Designs. The black cardstock is embossed with ODBD's new butterfly embossing plate. You can see it better if you look at the last photo. The lace is some I received from my friend Ann (it is May Arts).
Ror the card I used the Full of Grace- Faith, Butterfly single, butterfly die and Butterfly Embossing plate available at Our Daily Bread Designs. The new items I used for my creation include the Full Of Grace-Faith set, the embossing plate and the ecru trim. The old items I used were the Basic Grey Curio designer paper, punches, Labels 14 die (spellbinders) and black wrinkled ribbon. My butterfly is colored with copics. The little butterflies are the negative pieces left from punching the butterfly border with the Martha Stewart Butterfly border punch. The embossed butterflies are distressed with Bittersweet Distress ink as are the edges of the sentiment panel.

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! I had the opportunity to go out and do some shopping on my own and we got our outside lights up. This does not sound like much but since my husband caught the virus that I have been struggling with for the last three weeks...it really is quite the accomplishment. Unfortunately Scott pulled a chest muscle from coughing and is in extreme pain.
Anywho...onto today's Product Spotlight at Stamp and Create. This week Stamp and Create is spotlighting Wild Rose Studio stamps. This means that all Wild Rose Studio stamps are up to 25% off!!!
For my creation I would like to share a treatbox I created with the Milton with Hat stamp from WRS! I colored Milton in with copics and Prisma color pencils. The box itself uses the Favor Box II treat box template created by Leigh Ann Baird available at Perfect Presentations. I used the PDF version but it is also available as an SVG file.
The snowflakes are created using the cut outs from a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch. The roof is scored to make roof panels. Sparkle is added to the hat. The bough is created with the MS fig punch and 2 red rhinestones. I created the bow with May Arts Wrinkled ribbon (1 1/2 inches and the bow easy). The snowflake in the middle of the bow is a button.
For more examples using the Product Spotlight, please visit my dt sisters: Joy, Lacey, Heidi, Vicky and Jeanette.
Challenges I am entering my box into include:
