Hello Friends!!  Happy New Year to all!! The ODBD bread basket is kicking off the new year with a wonderful new release and lots of inspiration.  You won't want to miss the inspiration or a chance to win!!

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "ODBD stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until January 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on January 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

My first creation I would like to share with you uses the New Wishing Well image and sentiment, Wishing die, and Circles die as well as the previously released Stitched Ovals, Boho Background die , Double Stitched Circles and Beautiful Borders die.  While the Boho Background is a die cut, it was just embossed on this card.

My second creation is created using the New release: My Refuge and the previously released: Boho Background.

The My Refuge stamp set is not only beautiful for Bible Journaling or making a card, it is perfect for a bookmark as well.  The background of this card is embossed with a Darice Flourished Leaves die. The boho background is cut into a 1/3 from each edge and pieced behind the image/sentiment panel.

Here are the stamp and die sets used from this month's release:

To make this ornament, I first colored the Peaceful Deer ornament and cut it out with the Double stitched Circles die.  I created a frame with the Double Stitched Circles die and Circle Ornaments die with a blue layer and a glittered white card stock.  Behind this frame is acetate cut in a circle layered on dimensional adhesive foam tape (sealed without holes) over top of the deer image.  Beads are on the inside to make it a shaker.  I then layered the image over a silver cardstock cut with the Double Stitched Circle dies and the Doily (cut out of navy).

The back of the ornament was created using this 3d Circle Christmas Ornament tutorial on SC that I wrote up.  I only made half of the ornament and adhered it to the framed and layered deer image.

Hello Friends!!

I hope everyone is doing well!! Today is the second week of Anniversary challenges at Our Daily Bread Designs.

This week's challenge is to use purple, lavender or Amethyst on your creation since the Anniversary stone for a 6 year Anniversary is Amethyst.

Here is my creation:

I had a blast coloring up my Bee Balm in Lavender and Purple!!!  I wanted to create some texture and interest so I embossed the background in Sizzix Circles and Dots and used the shape of Decorative Labels 28 and Labels 28.  In order to keep the card standing I made a straight bottom on the back panel.  The sentiment is from Earth's Gladdest Day.

Easter will be here before we know it although it comes later this year so I thought it time to begin some spring/Easter cards.

To me it is no surprise that Easter occurs in Spring as the flowers and plants experience new life once again.  What symbolism!!  We too can receive new life through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.  What a gift of new life if we only believe.

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In his great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...

As we see the new life sprout around us, we have so much to rejoice in!!!!

This hop will end on Wednesday, August 22 at 8 p.m.

Randi is a very special lady who has been suffering with cancer.  She is an AMAZING woman with a real testimony for the Lord despite all the hardship she has gone through.  She is an inspiration to all who know her.  I am blessed to have her as a friend.  Many may remember the stamp set Randi's Song that Kelley released in Randi's Honor.  Well today we are also having a hop in her honor.  Happy 60th Birthday Randi!!! We love you and miss you!!!!!!

The card which I have made for Randi uses the Small Sweet William set from Our Daily Bread Designs.  The sentiment is stamped on twill ribbon. The sweet william image is stamped on designer paper and cut out with the Spellbinders Blossom 3 dies.  All the designer paper is from Prima Botanicals and Prima Sun Kiss.  The envelope is made with kraft cs and the Eyelet Circles from Spellbinders.  The leaves are sponged and cut out with Spellbinders Vine Borders.

Here are some of the stamps and dies and used for this creation:
