Happy Thursday all! Well the sunshine is trying to come out here and the birds are chirping away. I was looking out the window and I saw two etremely bright red birds. I had never seen them before. We looked in our bird book and they are called Scarlet Tanager. Wow were they beautiful! I tried to get a picture before my battery needed recharging. Hopefully I can blow it up on my computer to share with you later this week. is the day for the Divine Diva Challenge. Lori sent the dt the photo below as our inspiration from

I actually found this picture quite challenging. I have minimal (almost no) stamps with a vase of flowers. I did find an old stamp of mine that I bought from a local craft store years ago with a vase of flowers so I went with it. It is so old that the writing on the sides of the stamp is worn off. I know it is made by the Rubber Soul Co. but that is it.

I was greatly inspired by the colors for my card and the vase of daisies.

Card Recipe:
stamps: Rubber Soul ?
Paper: Parisian Breeze, Urban Garden, White CS
Accessories: Labels 4 Spellbinders, sewing machine, textile embossing folder, Chocolate chip and Baja Breeze Ribbon, EK Success Flower punch, Brads (flowers)
I hope you are able to join our challenge this week and that this creation somehow inspires you. For more inspiration, visit my ever so talented dt sisters: Julie, Keri, Chat, Angela, and Lori. If you do create a project or card using this inspiration please leave a direct link on Lori's blog here. If you upload your creation to SC, please use the keyword DDIC8. I look forward to seeing all your creations!
Have a great day!!!

First of all, I'm so jealous you have Scarlet Tanagers in your yard! We don't have those birds in Wisconsin that I know of. I love your card. It reminds me so much of the Inspiration piece. I love the Nestie you used to create the shape and all the beautiful colors and papers. Great job!
