WNW Challenge~ A good book

Good Morning Everyone!!! Happy Friday!!! WOOHOO! It has been a busy week and I am so ready for things to slow down a bit. The Wags n Whiskers team is kicking off the weekend with another Wags N Whiskers Challenge.

Today's Wags N' Whiskers Challenge is a colour challenge hosted by our lovely co owner and uber talented and sweet "Lacey" and the she is asking us to use "Fall Colours"....orange, green, brown, red, etc. As always, you must use a WnW stamp or digi on your card to be entered into the drawing for ONE FREE Wags 'n Whiskers STAMP OF YOUR CHOICE!

I decided to make something other than a card for this challenge. Sometimes it is fun to take a break from the norm!! So I chose to make a corner bookmark. My dear blogging friend Denise Marzec from Paper Landscapers has posted some gorgeous corner bookmarks and inspired me to try one as well. If you click on the link you will just see one of the gorgeous bookmarks. You may want to stay at her site and peruse her stunning creations cause this girl is uber talented!! Thanks Denise for making me think outside of the box.

I used the Image A Good Book. My girls already have claimed my bookmark. LOL!

I colored the image with both Prisma color pencils and gamsol. The dp is SU Basic Grey. The lace is May Arts as is the green silk ribbon. I never realized how much I don't use Fall colors until this challenge. It was hard for me. I added some glitter to give it some pizaaz.
