ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, March 24, 2015

Hello Friends!!  I hope all is well!!!  The weather appears to be changing more to Spring, although it seems to be going back and forth between warm and sunny to cloudy and cold!  What a tease!!
It is hard to believe that in a little over a week it will be Easter!!

Today I am popping in to share a card I created for the Shining the Light challenge at ODBD which is an Inspiration!!

I originally made a totally different creation for this challenge but decided to share this one instead.  I took my inspiration from the scripture, the flowers, and the layout of the first picture in the inspiration.  It is had to see since it is so faint but I stamped a green cross from Cross with Vines on my Neenah white paper and then used my stamping of the verse on vellum to make it more soft and subtle.  It did not want the cross to interfere with my verse.

Our Daily Bread Designs, Cross with Vines, God Verses,Aster, Fancy Foliage, Vintage Flourish Pattern, Spellbinders Labels 25, Designed by Chris Olsen, Twinkles Glow With stamps, Chisel Ink N More on Etsy, Phoenix turned pen

ODBD Stamps Used: Cross with Vines, God Verses

The Pen was turned by my hubby and that is available in our Etsy Store Chisel Ink n More.  It is a pen called the Phoenix.  You can see more details here.  All proceeds go to a mission trip for this summer for our girls, Nicki and Meghan.

hi chris. hope you are well. both the card AND the pen are gorgeous!

had 4" of snow here yesterday;
tomorrow rain and 60's; the rest of the week overcast (nothing new here in the midwest) and high 40s. no wonder everyone gets sick!

all's well here.
