Welcome to the December Our Daily Bread Designs Release Blog Hop!! If you came here from Connie's blog you are in the right place, if  you just happened on my blog you may want to go to the beginning at the ODBD Blog and start from there...since there is a lot of inspiration along the way and some awesome prizes hidden among the dt blogs!!!  If there should be a link broken along the way, simply return to the ODBD blog (or below here) where the entire list is displayed with links in order.  You can always check back to the one you missed at a later time before the hop ends.  The hop will run from Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. to Dec. 2 at 8 p.m.

There will be 4 prizes. Kelley has very generously offered to give Three prizes of Choice of One set, and One GRAND PRIZE of the December Bread Basket Bundle!!!! Wow!! How Awesome is that! The prizes are hidden on various blogs along the hop, so it is important that you visit and comment on each one! The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Dec. 3.Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of these great prizes:

Simply visit and leave a comment on each blog on the hop, then return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment there

1. telling us that you completed the hop (noting any blogs you were unable to leave comments on).
2. answer the question stated there,
3. and then just pray or cross your fingers and toes hoping you won!!!
Be sure to check the ODBD Blog on Dec 3rd to see if you won!!!

Now on to my project!!  I just love these new sets!! They are so versatile and fun!!  Instead of sharing a card with you today, I thought I would share an ornament I created with the new Ornaments sets released today.  Since ODBD is now a Spellbinders preferred company, Kelley will be offering sets from time to time that will fit in their dies!!  This is one of them!!!  These ornament images fit in the Spellbinders ornament dies offered at Spellbinders or you can purchase them at Our Daily Bread Designs if you purchase the entire bundle!!

I embossed the stamped image in gold and colored it in copics.  While some embossing powders sweer with copics, I have found that Stampendous does not smeer for me.

I apologize that my pictures don't show the colors just right...we are experiencing a lot of cloudy weather and rain lately so unfortunately I could not get a better photo.  The flowers are colored in a sage green color and the ribbon is like an emerald green.  If you click on the photo, you will see the colors more clearly.  There are two sides to the ornaments.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today! From here, hop on over
to Angie’s blog for some more inspiration!

Just in case you get lost along the way, I have included the team members and order here for you:

Gorgeous!!! My favorite Christmas memory is coming home to Tennessee from Chicago to my Granny's house. I can still hear the laughter, feel the love and smell the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. So long ago, but it seems like only yesterday.

What a lovely ornament. I won this die from the Spellbinders hop when it was introduced. Thanks for inspring me and reminding me to USE IT! (LOL)
Beautiful project. My greatest Christmas Memory is the first Christmas without my Mother. I was only 6 years old. With Mom dying in November and Christmas being the next month, sure we were sad, but my Dad, being the father that he was, did all he could do to make sure his 4 girls were happy. We didn't have a lot of money, but that's not what Christmas is all about. All we wanted for Christmas was the doll house fully furnished, that we saw in the Sears Catalog and Only the doll house and we had to share it, but my sisters and I to this day (now 50 years ago) remember how special that Christmas was.

Jackie W. said...

Oh, how lovely! I can see I will have to make room on my tree for some ornaments made with this set.
When I think of Christmas memories, the first one that comes to mind is when my oldest daughter (now 41) was 2, and she got one of those spring horses. There were other toys piled in front of it, and she was so excited! She wanted to get to that horse so bad, but couldn't ignore the doll and things in front. She kept saying' Horsey, Horsey'. It was so cute.
Have a blessed Christmas. Jackie

I just can't get enough of this ornament and all the great things you can do with it.
I remember when my dad got us a tree and it was to big for the house, he cut and cut but no use our tree sat in the front yard and our presents were under it when we woke up.

Beautiful ornament.
My favourite Christmas memory ...difficult question as many to choose from. One favourite, my Dad set up the card table in front of our beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had homemade meat pie followed by Christmas pudding or cookies (cookies were my choice as I don't like pudding). After, we would head off to church for the service where many Christmas hymns were sung -- my favourite, Silent Night.
