Happy Saturday!! What a fun day today is!! Today is the first Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for the year as well as the Saturday Spotlight's 2nd challenge for 2010 (scroll down to the bottom of the post for details on the Sat. Spotlight)!!! This month's Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs is to use brown and punches or dies!!! Easy enough don't you think? You do NOT have to use Our Daily Bread designs stamps to win, but if you have them, we definitely would LOVE to see them! Two blessed winners will receive a $15.00 Credit toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs Store!

Here is my creation for this challenge using the new release Baptism and Confirmation Verses and Confirmation (the dove on the sentiment panel). I used this week's Mojo Sketch-120 for the layout.

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- Baptism and Confirmation Verses, Confirmation
Paper: Nook and Pantry from Basic Grey, Chocolate Chip, white
Accessories: bird charm, pearls and rhinestones, Victoria embossing template

I hope you can join us for the challenge ( to use brown and punches or dies and an ODBD image or sentiment if you have them)
If you do, please leave a direct link to Mr. Linky on the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog before January23 at 8 p.m. EST. This challenge will last 2 weeks. If you upload your creation to SC or PCP, please use the keyword ODBDC110.

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

To celebrate Our Daily Bread Design's Member company status at Splitcoast stampers, Kelley is giving away a BIG prize!!! If you visit the ODBD Welcome Forum and leave a comment by January 10, you will be entered in a drawing to win a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store! So you have until tomorrow to participate!!

I just love Saturday's and the Saturday Spotlight Challenge. I so enjoy visiting all the entries and blogs and seeing everyone's takes on the challenges for this week. This week we have another fun challenge for you....

This week's challenge over at Sat. Spotlight is to make a Valentine/wedding/love style creation with NO HEARTS used on it!! So think of another way to represent "love" without using hearts!

For our Spotlight sponsor this week we have...
(click HERE to go to store.)

One lucky winner from this week's challenge entries will be randomly chosen to win a 10 pound gift voucher to spend in the store!!

Here is my take on this challenge. I incorporated the Color Throwdown Challenge colors for this week as well as the Wags n Whiskers Challenge to make a Valentine without red on my creation as well and the ABC Challenge which is L-is for layering.

Here are the Color Throwdown Colors

I also used the Shut-terfly digital paper and Shutt-erfly box template available in Lauren Meader's store, My Time Made Easy. I have so much fun creating new projects. The image is from Wags n Whiskers and it is called Steal A Kiss. I watercolored the image and cut it out to give it dimension.

Stamps: Wags N Whiskers- Steal a Kiss
Paper: White, Chocolate Chip and Shutt-erfly Digital paper
Accessories: American Crafts Ribbon, gold cording, swiss dots embossing folder, Shutt-erfly box template

I hope you enjoyed my creation, for more awesome inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:
