Twinkles Glow with Stamps

Hi all!! I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful week!!  Is anyone having problems posting on blogger.  Boy am I struggling with posting and editing or even commenting!!! Grrr! I write up posts and they publish rather than schedule or save as drafts.  Some of you may have seen my preview last night since while I was writing this post it decided to publish.
Sorry!! I removed it right away but it still shows in the reader and on the sidebar.  Oops!!


Today I am popping in to share the new Whiff of Joy Challenge.  This week's challenge is fun and easy!!

Bows and Buttons!!!!


  For my creation I used the adorable Willow kneeling which I colored with copics.  The designer paper is My Mind's Eye.  The white flower is hand crocheted and has a button in the middle from my stash.

Hello All!! I hope you are all having a fantastic week!!  Life has been very busy but productive for me.  I don't know if all home sellers are as  crazy as I am ...what a lot of work. This past weekend and all last week, my hubby and I took all our pictures down, patched all the nail holes, and repainted most all the rooms.  Only a few more to go...As I go along I am packing all my nick knacks, cranberry glass, carolers and china.  It looks so different and just does not feel like home anymore.

Anywho...since it is a new month, it is also a new challenge at Stamp and Create!!! This months challenge is CRITTERS.  That's right....animals and or insects or bugs.  Easy peasy and fun right?!!

For my creation I used the adorable Bird and Bear (Stampavie) illustrated by Penny Johnson. I colored it with copics.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Party Letter Mini Seals.  The dp is Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue.
 The gorgeous lavender ruffled ribbon was gifted to me by my dear friend Sabrina.  Thanks Sabrina!!!

For my creation, I made a pincushion. The jar is prima flowers jar that I altered.  The label on the jar uses the Pincushion Tag set.  The tag is created using the Pincushion Tag set for the image and border and the sentiment from the Spool Tag set. The tag is cut out with the customized tag die from ODBD The top of the jar I patched and sewed together.

Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the weekend!!  It is hot and humid here!!  Today we plan to stay indoors and take wall hangings down, patch the nail holes and paint til we drop. LOL!  I hope we get a lot accomplished before I leave to go to my parents this week.  I have until Tuesday...since we don't work on Sunday and go to church etc., that leaves today and Monday.  My hubby will be home but with work and all, he will be so busy.  Next week we have a Realtor Open House...

Anywho....today it is time for another Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs!!

 This weeks challenge:
Create a card or project using the sketch with a twist. The twist is you can use any center panel shape you would like in the center.



Now on to my take on the challenge:
 
For my creation I used a sneak peek of Weave in Faith to be released on Monday August 1 at Our Daily Bread Designs!!  I just love these sewing and biblical based stamps!!!  The dp I used on my Creation is Kaiser Craft Lilac Avenue.  The sentiment is framed with the Spellbinders Labels 14 die.  The flowers are from ZVA Creative.

Hello All!! I hope you are all having a great week!!  Life has been busy here and I have been neglecting my blog.  I must admit I did try to comment but my computer, Blogger and Firefox had other ideas. GRRR!!!

Anywho today I have lots to share and catch up on....

  First it is my turn to share a de-stressed or distressed creation with you at Sunday's With Crissy!! Such a fun challenge!!  For my card I used the darling Fairy Daydreams image (available at Whimsy stamps) illustrated by Crissy.  I colored it with copics.  For my distressing I used ink on my sentiment panel and a distressing tool to rough up on the edges on the rest of the card. The sentiment is from Whismy's sentiment collection and is called Summer Letter Seals.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid and prima. I also added my homemade croceted flowers. The dp is Basic Grey but I am unsure from which pad....sorry!!
