Happy Hump Day Everyone!! This week is an extremely busy week for me with blog hops and challenge posts. Today alone, I will have three different posts!! But....there is lots of inspiration and goodies to be shared as well!!
My first creation today, is in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I incorporated the new Your Next stamp challenge which is to use sparkle and the new Creative Belli challenge to use things beginning with "C" on your creation. The image is the darling Erin from Ireland(Irish Dancer) image from Your Next Stamp which I colored with copics.
My pennant flags are created with the pennant templates from Perfect Presentations designed by Leigh Ann Baird. They are very sparkly since it is black glitter paper but you can't see it well in the photo. My other piece of sparkle is the rhinestones.
Card recipe:
Paper: Die Cuts with a View Music stack
Accessories: Musical charm, rhinestones, copics, black stitched ribbon, ric rac
tools: Perfect Presentation pennant templates, MS Shell border punch, Spellbinders Jumbo Scallop Border Die,
The items beginning with C on my card is the crown, "Crystal", and charm.
Karen, Crystal , Kerri , Simonne, Beth, Maureen, Jenny, Dana, Diana
and Wendy

Happy Tuesday All!! I hope you are all doing well and the week is going smoothly. Unfortunately my week did not start out the best ...while eating some raisins I crunched on something hard...never a good sign ...Yes, one of my teeth broke in half!!! Looks like I will be needing a cap on it....cha ching...cha ching...there goes more $$$$$$$$$. Oh well...guess it could always be worse.
Anywho...today is the last day of sneak peaks at Whimsy!! Yes, tomorrow at noon time is the Whimsy March Release Blog hop! Lots of fun images and sentiments this month!!
Today I would like to share a 3D Easter gift I created for a child using the Rainy Day Duckling Designed by Meljen's. I found these eggs at Walmart and filled it up with my fave chocolate...Lindt!! I colored my ducky with copics. The dp is from SEI. The glitter paper is SEI. I used my Lacey Circles die to frame my image as well as my classic circles. The sentiment is typed on my PC. The ribbon is Wrinkled ribbon from May Arts.
Many of my dt sisters have created something for a sneak peek...I am sure they have lots of inspiration for you!!

Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend!! The weather was not as nice as they predicted yesterday but it was a great day for a nap after losing an hour of sleep with the time change. LOL!
Today I would like to share a creation I made with a super cute image from Stampavie's CHA Release.
Lacey is knee deep in moving boxes, but we the design team still had fun creating with her wonderful assortment of stamps! Just to remind everyone, any orders placed right will not ship out until March 20th.This week there is no Product Spotlight but....
Any orders of $25 or more placed during March 9th-19th will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate. And there is a 10% discount on orders placed during March 9-19th using discount code moving
I used the new Stampavie Fleur Gathering Flowers image. Isn't she darling. I had so much fun coloring her with copics. I also used the white tear drop lace, mauve silk ribbon from May Arts and a butterfly charm available at Stamp and Create!
The dp is some of my new stash from Prima!! I just love this paper. It is from the Sparkling Spring creation. The sentiment is a sneak of a new sentiment from Whimsy to be released on Wednesday from the Spring Seals collection designed by Raindrop Echo designs. The flowers are from Zva Creative and Prima. I used some precut die cut glittered flourishes and buttons as well. I did stitch and dry emboss the paper as well as distress it but you may see it better if you click on the photo.
Whimsy is having lots of sneaks today, for a complete list of where you can find these sneak peeks, click here.

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are enjoying the weekend and that the weather is nice. My heart goes out to all in Japan with the Tsunami. I keep thinking and praying about all the devastation and what they must be going through. The weather is much better here today without rain and in the 50's. Could it be almost Spring?
Well today I am here to share the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge. This week's host is the sweet and talented Linda.
Linda chose the verse:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
What do you treasure? Do you treasure earthly things...I think we all do to a certain extent. or... Do you treasure the Word Of God and what Christ has done for you. What you treasure is where your thoughts and energy's go. For example, I treasure the responsibility God has given me in being a mother. I dearly love my children and husband and how I go through my day is affected by them. So it is as a Christian, if you treasure your relationship with God and what He has done for you, you spend time in His word, pray, and you are Christ like in all you do (at least you try...we are all sinners and human and are not always perfect). My goal this week is to show more how much I treasure Christ, spending more time in devotions, showing love to others, and in prayer. Sometimes life gets so busy that we forget our "treasures" and where our focus should be.
Linda's challenge is:
Use something you treasure on your card - whether it be bling, flowers, something new or have been saving for a long time - show us your treasures!
Now if really did this challenge correctly I would have used scripture but I took this opportunity to ink up some Flourishes sets that I love but seldom have the chance to use. I used the last of my treasured lace from Wild Orchids (Boo Hoo). My real treasured item for this card though is my friends. I chose 3 items given to me in RAK's from friends whom I cherish. The sentiment is from the Strawberries stamp set available at Flourishes and it was given to me by my dear friend Crystal. The image is from Sweet Pea, my first ever Flourishes stampset!! The ruffled ribbon is from my dear friend Sabrina. The Lotus border die which I used on my card as a border is from my dear friend Grace. I also used my treasure Prima dp: Sparkling Spring.
When making this card, I decided to play with two of Flourishes challenges. The first is the FlourishesTimeless Tuesday challenge which is to use faux/real stitching. I used metallic silver thread and it may be hard to see but there is lots of stitching on this card. The second is the Flourishes "the cut above the rest" challenge which is to use punches or dies.
I colored the image with copics and cut it out with the Small Petite Ovals from Spellbinders using the "Out of the frame" technique. The sentiment is cut out with a SU oval punch and Spellbinders Fancy tags. The top scallop on the top of the card is punched with a MS Shells border punch. The dp is embossed with Soft Swirls from Cuttlebug.
For more inspiration for the Stampin in Christ Challenge, please visit my dt sisters:
Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi (on leave), Meisje, Kristine, Sabrina, Marilynn and Rebecca.
For the full devotional and challenge details please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge.
We want to thank our Sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, for the generous prize of Cat and Dog stampset.
