Welcome to the December Our Daily Bread Designs Release Blog Hop!! If you came here from Connie's blog you are in the right place, if you just happened on my blog you may want to go to the beginning at the ODBD Blog and start from there...since there is a lot of inspiration along the way and some awesome prizes hidden among the dt blogs!!! If there should be a link broken along the way, simply return to the ODBD blog (or below here) where the entire list is displayed with links in order. You can always check back to the one you missed at a later time before the hop ends. The hop will run from Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. to Dec. 2 at 8 p.m.
There will be 4 prizes. Kelley has very generously offered to give Three prizes of Choice of One set, and One GRAND PRIZE of the December Bread Basket Bundle!!!! Wow!! How Awesome is that! The prizes are hidden on various blogs along the hop, so it is important that you visit and comment on each one! The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Dec. 3.Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of these great prizes:
Simply visit and leave a comment on each blog on the hop, then return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment there
1. telling us that you completed the hop (noting any blogs you were unable to leave comments on).
2. answer the question stated there,
3. and then just pray or cross your fingers and toes hoping you won!!!
Be sure to check the ODBD Blog on Dec 3rd to see if you won!!!
Now on to my project!! I just love these new sets!! They are so versatile and fun!! Instead of sharing a card with you today, I thought I would share an ornament I created with the new Ornaments sets released today. Since ODBD is now a Spellbinders preferred company, Kelley will be offering sets from time to time that will fit in their dies!! This is one of them!!! These ornament images fit in the Spellbinders ornament dies offered at Spellbinders or you can purchase them at Our Daily Bread Designs if you purchase the entire bundle!!
I embossed the stamped image in gold and colored it in copics. While some embossing powders sweer with copics, I have found that Stampendous does not smeer for me.
I apologize that my pictures don't show the colors just right...we are experiencing a lot of cloudy weather and rain lately so unfortunately I could not get a better photo. The flowers are colored in a sage green color and the ribbon is like an emerald green. If you click on the photo, you will see the colors more clearly. There are two sides to the ornaments.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today! From here, hop on over
to Angie’s blog for some more inspiration!
Just in case you get lost along the way, I have included the team members and order here for you:

Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! Today I and the rest of the Perfect Presentations team would like to share some 3d items or gift containers you can make using templates from Perfect Presentations.
Nothing shows someone you care like creating your own gift boxing. I decided to create a gift box using the Pop Top box template from Perfect Presentations created by Leigh Ann Baird. This template is available as a PDF file or an SVG file. They are so fun and easy to make!!
For my creation I used the new designer paper called Holiday Folly exclusively designed and sold at Whimsy stamps. The candle image matches the designer paper and is designed by Crissy Armstrong. It is available in the Peace on Earth Collection at Whimsy stamps.
I colored the image in copics and added gold metallic stitching and pearls on a scalloped circle panel. The image is also glittered.
For more inspiration and examples with these templates, please visit:

Happy Sunday Everyone!! This is going to be a very short post today since I am posting at the last minute before running out the door for our weekend excursion. Prayerfully we have a good trip and my coughing will stop...
This week's challenge is hosted by the dear and sweet Lisa!!
Lisa chose the verse:
Philippians 4: 13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
The challenge is:
Make a card/project of encouragement or congratulations.
I decided to make a card for my dear friend Mark who just lost his wife to cancer. I have sent him other cards as well but I know how difficult life without Ruby is so I plan to send him encouraging words every now and again to let him know we are praying for him and that our thoughts are with him. If anyone needs strength it is those who lost loved ones. Only the comfort and strength that God gives can comfort you from day to day...that and knowing Ruby is in Heaven dancing and singing and in her Father's arms.
For my card I used the On Eagles Wings set from Our Daily Bread Designs. The paper is from Basic Grey. Since it is a masculine card it has less detail than my normal cards....masculine cards are not my strength I am afraid...
I have two pictures here since I struggled taking umpteen pictures and none seemed to look right with the lighting...it is night and the colors just won't cooperate...doesn't help that I am coughing and my hands are unsteady...Sorry for the awful photo...
For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:
Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi, Meisje, Rebecca, and Patti
For the full devotional and challenge details please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This post is prescheduled since we did go on our trip for the weekend (hacking away and all....).
Anywho it is time for another Our Daily Bread Shining the Light challenge this week!!
This week's Challenge:
Well...December is just around the corner...and in most places of the USA comes the cold and/or snowflakes. So this week's challenge is to add snowflakes to your creation (this can be on the dp, punched, the image, your ribbon, and etc.)
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday,
December 2. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.
While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. If you are not using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, please do not submit your entry more than once or we will have to delete one entry. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by December 2 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC39. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.
Below is a candle I created using Peace and Joy, Christmas Blessings at Our Daily Bread Designs (Sneak Peak which is available now as a prerelease for the first time ever Here!!!!)
The snowflake from the Peace and joy set was embossed in gold directly on to the candle. I adhered the lace with short straight pins. Each snowflake has a blue gem on it. The snowflake on the bow is a button that I embossed in gold on the edges. The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings set. The ribbon is navy silk from May Arts.

Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope you all are doing well and that those in the USA had a good Thanksgiving with lots of Thanksgiving "Stuffing". We did....it was a quiet one with just our immediate family as we were trying to be on the mend so we could leave on our weekend adventure today. We decided that although we are still hacking and not at all 100% that we would go any way since our hotel reservations are nonrefundable and we had been looking forward to this for so long. I hope we have a good time despite all our coughing, sneezing and the like...
Anywho...today is a new Wags n Whiskers challenge. This week our host is the sweet and ever so sweet Nikki!! Nikki has challenged us toWrap it up! - We would like to see your Gift Bag, Box or Tag. Yes that means no cards this time.
Therefore, anyone who uses a Wags 'n Whiskers image will be entered into both prizes of a rubber stamp and a digital stamp!!
The only requirements are that you link directly to your challenge project - not to the main page of your blog. You must have a new project (no back linking) and you must link your card to the challenge post.
If you do not have a blog, you can still enter the challenges by uploading your cards to an open gallery such as Splitcoaststampers.
The snowflakes at the corners is the new snowflakes die called Winter's Jewel I from Whimsy's Shapeology die collection. I just love it!!
