Happy Birthday!!

Good Morning Friends!! I hope you are all staying warm and are also escaping this year's flu season.
It appears that so many are affected by it.  Colds and flus are certainly running rampant here in Virginia.

Today I am popping in to share a fairly simple Birthday Card created using the Birthday Candles Dies, Pierced Rectangles, Today and Everyday stamp set, and the Birthday Bash Designer Paper.

The candles are created by using the negative cut outs of the Birthday Candles die.  The Flames are cut out with the dies and popped on top of the negative cut outs.  I just love the effect of the Birthday Bash Paper peeking through.  The sentiment is from the Today and Everyday stamp set.

Birthday Gift Set

Hello Friends!! Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and time to spend with the family or friends.



This is a picture of the gift bag.  For this creation I used the Card Caddy and Gift Bag, Gift Bag Handles and Toppers,  A Gift for You dies, Double Stitched Ovals,
and Birthday Bash 6x6 Paper Collection.  The tag is created with 2 dies from the Gift for You die set.

The February ODBD New Release....

Hello Friends!!  Can you believe one month of 2018 is already over!! Today Our Daily Bread Designs kicks off a new month with a new release!!  The stamps and dies are gorgeous and are so fun to use.  The new release items I used below can be found here.  This month is full of fun birthday stamps and dies!!!

For my first creation, I used the new The Giving Gift Box dies, Gift Card Holder dies, A Gift for You dies, Happy Birthday Caps dies, Birthday Candle Dies, Today and Every Day Stamp Set as well as the Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection.

 This is the entire set,  inside and out.

This is the giving gift box that was created that was designed specifically to coordinate with the gift card holder.  The gift card holder fits perfectly within it.  In a addition to the The Giving Gift Box dies, A Gift for You dies, Birthday Candle Dies, and Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection were used.  The box is cut from Navy Cardstock.  The bright light blue is from the Birthday Brights collection. This piece of paper was trimmed by hand to frame the scalloped rectangle in the Giving Gift Box die set.


This is the gift card holder.  This is the outside of the gift card holder which was created with the Gift Card Holder dies, Happy Birthday Caps dies, Birthday Candle Dies, Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection, as well as the The Giving Gift Box dies for the reverse scalloped rectangle cut from navy cardstock.  The Happy Birthday Caps was also cut from navy cardstock.

This is the inside of the gift card holder created with the The Giving Gift Box dies, Gift Card Holder dies, Pierced Ovals dies, Today and Every Day Stamp Set as well as the Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection.  The reverse scalloped rectangle from the Giving Gift box die set is also used to frame the inside of the card.

My last creation is a Surprise Box which was created with  Surprise Box die, Birthday Candles dies, Numbers dies, Pierced Ovals dies, Today and Every Day Stamp Set as well as the Birthday Bash 6x6 paper collection and Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection.  The candles were die cut and embossed and then colored with copics.
