Happy Monday!!  I hope you all had a great weekend!!  Today I and the rest of the Perfect Presentations team would like to share some 3d items or gift containers you can make using templates from Perfect Presentations.

Nothing shows someone you care like creating your own gift boxing.   I decided to create a gift box using the  Pop Top box template from Perfect Presentations created by Leigh Ann Baird.  This template is available as a PDF file or an  SVG file.  They are so fun and easy to make!!

For my creation I used the new designer paper called Holiday Folly exclusively designed and sold at Whimsy stamps.  The candle image matches the designer paper and is designed by Crissy Armstrong. It is available in the Peace on Earth Collection at Whimsy stamps.
I colored the image in copics and added gold metallic stitching and pearls on a scalloped circle panel.  The image is also glittered.

For more inspiration and examples with these templates, please visit:

Happy Sunday Everyone!!  This is going to be a very short post today since I am posting at the last minute before running out the door for our weekend excursion.  Prayerfully we have a good trip and my coughing will stop...

This week's challenge is hosted by the dear and sweet Lisa!!

 Lisa chose the verse:

Philippians 4: 13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The challenge is:
Make a card/project of encouragement or congratulations.

I decided to make a card for my dear friend Mark who just lost his wife to cancer.  I have sent him other cards as well but I know how difficult life without Ruby is so I plan to send him encouraging words every now and again to let him know we are praying for him and that our thoughts are with him.  If anyone needs strength it is those who lost loved ones.  Only the comfort and strength that God gives can comfort you from day to day...that and knowing Ruby is in Heaven dancing and singing and in her Father's arms.

For my card I used the On Eagles Wings set from Our Daily Bread Designs.  The paper is from Basic Grey. Since it is a masculine card it has less detail than my normal cards....masculine cards are not my strength I am afraid...

I have two pictures here since I struggled taking umpteen pictures and none seemed to look right with the lighting...it is night and the colors just won't cooperate...doesn't help that I am coughing and my hands are unsteady...Sorry for the awful photo...

Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  This post is prescheduled since we did go on our trip for the weekend (hacking away and all....).

Anywho it is time for another Our Daily Bread Shining the Light challenge this week!!

This week's Challenge:
Well...December is just around the corner...and in most places of the USA comes the cold and/or snowflakes. So this week's challenge is to add snowflakes to your creation (this can be on the dp, punched, the image, your ribbon, and etc.)

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday,
December 2. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. If you are not using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, please do not submit your entry more than once or we will have to delete one entry. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by December 2 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC39. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

Below is a candle I created using Peace and Joy, Christmas Blessings at Our Daily Bread Designs (Sneak Peak which is available now as a prerelease for the first time ever Here!!!!)
The snowflake from the Peace and joy set was embossed in gold directly on to the candle.  I adhered the lace with short straight pins.  Each snowflake has a blue gem on it. The snowflake on the bow is a button that I embossed in gold on the edges. The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings set.  The ribbon is navy silk from May Arts.

Happy Friday Everyone!!  I hope you all are doing well and that those in the USA had a good Thanksgiving with lots of Thanksgiving "Stuffing".  We did....it was a quiet one with just our immediate family as we were trying to be on the mend so we could leave on our weekend adventure today.  We decided that although we are still hacking and not at all 100% that we would go any way since our hotel reservations are nonrefundable and we had been looking forward to this for so long.  I hope we have a good time despite all our coughing, sneezing and the like...

Anywho...today is a new Wags n Whiskers challenge.  This week our host is the sweet and ever so sweet Nikki!!  Nikki has challenged us toWrap it up! - We would like to see your Gift Bag, Box or Tag.  Yes that means no cards this time.
Don't forget the Wags n Whiskers challenge is now open. Anyone can play along and you DO NOT need to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image.

Each challenge we have two prizes:

One random participant will win a

Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp of their choice.
Any entry using a Wags 'n Whiskers image on their card will be entered into a drawing for a W'nW Digital stamp of their choice!!

Therefore, anyone who uses a Wags 'n Whiskers image will be entered into both prizes of a rubber stamp and a digital stamp!!

The only requirements are that you link directly to your challenge project - not to the main page of your blog. You must have a new project (no back linking) and you must link your card to the challenge post.
If you do not have a blog, you can still enter the challenges by uploading your cards to an open gallery such as Splitcoaststampers.
Here is my take on the challenge using the adorable and beautiful Nichola fairy from Wags n Whiskers.  I colored her with copics, cut her out and popped her up on a mini pizza box I created.
The layout uses the Midnight Madness Sketch.

"YOUR CHOICE"

The designer paper is the new dp from Whimsy called Very Merry.  It is the most beautiful Christmas paper ever.

The snowflakes at the corners is the new snowflakes die called Winter's Jewel I from Whimsy's Shapeology die collection. I just love it!!

Happy Hump Day everyone!!  I hope you are all having a good week and that those in the USA are all ready for the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow.  We plan on having a quiet holiday with just our family especially since we are all still fighting the flu...Lord willing we will be better in time to make our trip to Lancaster PA for the weekend.  We have been looking forward to this for quite a while and would be so disappointed if we could not go....

Anywho...Today is the day we have a new Your Next Stamp Challenge which is to case a dt members creation and a new Creative Belli challenge which is to  use embellishments beginning with R.  Since I have not been feeling well, I decided to combine the two...I cased my dear friend and dt sister Crystal.  I chose to case this creation using the cute mini little monkey  The rules of the challenge was to make it look like a true case where you can really tell it is a case so that is what I did just adding glittery paper which does not show up in the photo very well, different dp but in the same colors, layering my image in lacey borders, and adding ric rac (after all it starts with r as does red, ribbon, rhinestones and ruffle- perfect for the Creative Belli challenge).

The brown ruffled ribbon is velvet and from Making Memories.  The embossing is using Cuttlebug's Happy Birthday folder.  The red ribbon is 1/2 inch wrinkled silk from May Arts.  The dp is SU Ski Slope.  I framed the image with a scalloped nesties die and the Lacey circles die.

Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Unfortunately I have been feeling under the weather and pretty sick over the weekend so our family had a very lay low weekend.  I originally was suppose to sing for church but that was not in the cards for me with my coughing fits and no voice.  Oh well...this too shall pass.

I am not up to making cards right now so thank goodness I am not a procrastinator and work well ahead of time.

Today is another Stamp and Create Product Spotlight and this week's Spotlight is anything with food...So any stamps that include food in them will be up to 25% off this week.

For my creation I used the adorable Henry Christmas Mouse from Whiff of Joy!  I can't get enough of dear Henry!  He is for sure one of my faves!  I colored Henry with copics.  The paper is Cosmo Cricket Very Merry. The flowers are  prima aqua roses available at Stamp and Create and some prima flowers I found at Michaels. The Sentiment is Whimsy's Holiday Ticket Sentiments. The scallops are cut out using the scallops die from Nestabilities.

The layout uses the Whiff of Joy sketch created by Tara.

I added texture using a soft swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug and distressed my edges. The snowflake is a button which I placed in the middle of a bow and hung gold bauble bells from.

My second card uses a sneak peak from Our Daily Bread Designs called Full of Grace- Blessings.  I got some glittery dp from my scrap bin to create it (I know it is from DCWV but am unsure of the name).  I just love the pink and black together.  The flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid.  As you can see I went die cut happy with my Lacey Squares die.  Since the square was not big enough to frame my entire card, I used a die from the Fleur De Lis Frame set (Spellbinders) to piece in the middle.  I put the Fleur de Lis symbol upside down.

Happy Sunday Everyone!!  This is going to be a very short post today since I am very sick and not at all up to write up a post today....I don't want to let my team members down, however, so I am here....

This week's challenge is hosted by the dear and sweet Meisje!!

Meisje chose the verse:
Psalm 107:1 "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever."

When I think of the upcoming Christmas season, I can't help but think about how much He loves us!  What greater celebration is there but to celebrate the greatest gift of all...His son that he sent to be born as a human baby in order for Him to save us for our sins.  Now that is Grace and definitely the greatest gift of all!!

Meisje chose the challenge:

Create a card or project that shows your thankfulness to God.

Here is my take on the challenge:

I decided to make some of the little gift treats for the Sunday School teachers this year.  As Sunday School Co-Superintendent  I like to make a few different gifts for them thanking them for their time and dedication.

I used the easy candy wrapper template from Perfect Presentation designed by the uber talented Leigh Ann Baird and some sentiments from Whimsy's Digital Gratitude set (designed by Ann from Raindrop Echo Designs) as well as a hand typed verse.

This picture shows both sides ( both sides are decorated with a sentiment and a verse).  The verse says...Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift! 2 Cor. 9:15

Most of the embellishing it using sparkly buttons and May Arts Silk ribbon.

Here is my take on the challenge for this week using Holly tags and the new tag die
at Our Daily Bread designs.

Happy Friday Everyone!  The weekend is upon us and I just can't tell you how relieved I am that it is here.  This has been a rough week and I am looking forward to taking it easy this weekend.  Thanks to so many for their emails and messages of support and prayers after the passing of my very dear friend, Ruby. Words can not express how much the support and prayers meant to me!  The services went very well and really were a beautiful testimony of the life Ruby lived as a very strong and Christian woman.  God did grant me the ability to sing the song she chose at the memorial service without tears and I did have a voice although now I have a rotten cold, a day later, and have bad larynjitis and coughing fits.

Anywho...today I have two cards to share with you.

The first creation is one I created with the adorable Mother's Love available at Prairy Fairy!  I am greatly honored to have been asked to guest design this week with these fabulous images for this week's Prairy Fairy Friday challenge.  Thanks for this opportunity Roberta!!

This week's challenge is to used buttons and bow on your creation.  Here is my creation:

For my creation, I used the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge sketch which I flipped on it's side.

I colored the image very lightly with copics and used Stampin Up Baja Breeze and a scalloped oval to sponge my sky.  The dp is from Stampin Up Candy Cane (current) and Parisian Breeze (now retired).  The sentiment is from Whimsy's Sentiment collection: Winter Letter seals (designed by Ann from Raindrop Echo designs).  I embossed my background with the Snowflakes background from Cuttlebug and added lots of sparkle to my image.  The punched border is a new EK Success Snowflake border.  The image and card is framed with white glitter paper.  While it is hard to see in the photo unless you click on it, the edges are also sewn.

For more inspiration for the buttons and bows challenge at Prairy Fairy or to submit your entry, please visit the Prairy Fairy blog.

My second creation is for the Wags n Whiskers, lavender and lace challenge hosted by the sweet and talented Vicky!!

Here is my creation using the adorable Zoe and Gemma's snow fun which I colored with copics. The layout uses the Midnight Madness Sketch.
"YOUR CHOICE"
The sentiment is from Whimsy's Sentiment collection: Winter Letter seals (designed by Ann from Raindrop Echo designs).  the background is embossed with Snowflakes.  The ribbon is from May Arts and is silk.  The lace is purchased from JoAnn Fabrics.  The dp is Basic Grey.
